That's just a very nice move. The best thing is that you can do it in real-life.

Also consider the fact that he is armed now, so now, if not before, he is armed and ready to take on the Royals.

He just SAVED one. You think the kid would at least be a little willing to help him.

No, then you can go drink their beers.

And the punk's family can't squeeze our hero for cash either, so at least this won't cause him any trouble. Heck, the guards might pat him on the back for taking a gang member or two off the street. (Or just give him the cold shoulder for making them look bad.)
Or arrest him since a guardsman comming on the scene will find Quentin, holding a lethal weapon and standing over the RedCap he just knocked out cold.

The last comment have me thinking that Quentin made a big mistake by freezing in surprise, either Redcap one (landing platform) or RedCap two (Boogie chew toy) will surprise him, or the guard will come in and round up everyone. OTOP Quentin's condition, and if the Magistrate has paw printing or a lux based equavilent should help clear him under third party self defense.

Nice bit on the muscle memory, and Quentin apparently kept his up more than monthly drills. Seems like the Redcaps had the 'magic wand' mindset some people get with firearms. I.E. I wave this gun (Magic wand) and you can do nothing but what I say, and can't stop me if I want to slice/shoot you. The later is generaly true for guns, if you are far enough back to avoid a surprise lunge/charge AND have something with enough power to put your opponent on the ground incapacitated or dead in a single good shot. Light calibre guns don't do that unless you are very good and/or lucky.

Qwentyn: Handing out cake and ass-kickings...and he's all outta cake!

Seriously, nice takedown. Seems Ralph's done his homework. Couldn't have done it better myself. (No, really, I couldn't. I don't have any martial arts training)

Here's hoping he doesn't have another run-in with Mulharney.

Any artist out there want to try animating that scene? Should be 15-20 seconds long.

Heck, all I was thinking was "Stop standing there looking down at the guy! Check for other attackers, and if there aren't any around - make sure the Red Cap won't get back up."

You realize, Squidge has little strength to maintain his hold on the other Red Cap - but if he holds out long enough he might manage to suffocate that red-raging rogue 'rac.
