Slicer sticks!!

Post by The JAM »

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

Golly, new weapons keep coming up all over! Let's hope that his shirt was ALL that was sliced, and perhaps a hair or two.

Hmm....what's this? Commission? Test concept? And maybe Quentyn should be shooting behind him instead of infront of him? Can't he see the reflection of that thing on his helmet? A green-furred Rac Conan?

Still, nice pic, Ralph!

Let's hope that the slicer sticks aren't like a weapon I saw in another story, where it doesn't affect your armor or even your skin, but it cuts your internal organs. **eww**

Ojhh nasty new toy.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

With this new addition, I wonder if Quentyn is going to have to kill this guy?

If nothing else, this whole series of encounters should teach Quentyn to carry at least a decent sized knife.

"That's not a slicer stick," as he draws his much larger Bowie slicer stick. "Now that's a slicer stick!"

Heh, if anyone saw that dundee in LA movie, theres a scene in that when they get mugged by a bunch of thugs in one of those "rapper cars" (the kind that bounces with the beat).

They snatched the gun and then proceeded to dump a dumpster load of trash through the roof of the convertable.

Wouldnt mind seeing quent adding a few redcaps to the local tip.

Yeah....$6000 paint job, $3000 hydraulics system, $1000 worth of batteries in the trunk, $4000 custom wheels, $10,000 sound system all in a rusted out POS bought for $500. Looks and sounds great, but the engine and tranny couldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's butt going down hill.

HowEVER......I have seen some absolutely incredible custom jobs where the entire car was totally re-worked and restored before all the bling was added.

Well that's a nice mental image.

Yeah.....incredible color-changing metallic flame job, whole car dancin' to the thumper crap comin' out of the 125 speakers inside the thing, and the cat pulling the whole shebang backward up the hill by the string.......beautiful image at that. :D

Please, please, PLEASE!

Don't call that crap for hydraulics!

All those systems I've seen use AIR, and are therefroe Pneumatic!
that also explain why they bounce so much when they adjust the height, as air really isn't suited for fine adjustments.

If you want REAL hydraulics, you need a Citro

ROTF...     ..WELL DONE ANTHONY!!!!!

As to hydraulics/pneudraulics I've seen both systems used. I just used the hydraulics term 'cause it was the first one that came to mind.

If I sound like I'm a bit down on low riders, it's because I've seen so many incredibly decked out POS out there.

There was this vintage '68 "Cheby" Impala with an incredible 3-tone/6 tone prizmatic paint job, full pneumatics, and a killer sound system. The paint was flawless....just like glass.....except where these pathetic posers neglected to grind out, prep, and bondo the rust blisters on the doors, quarter panels and roof!!!!......THEY JUST PAINTED OVER THE BUBBLES!!!! :o :x

The interior was trashed, and the left rear window was a piece of plastic drop-cloth and duct tape, and the engine sounded like a washing machine full of marbles.

This POS sat in a driveway for 6mos without a thing done to it......it was, to me, a borderline criminal waste of time, effort, money and materials. But I guess these idiots thought it looked cool in the driveway.....because that's where it stayed until code enforcement made 'em move it. Never saw it again, but I'll bet there was at least $2K+ in paint alone on it......what a monumental waste of material.

She was a noble truck....worked hard. I miss her to.
Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' John 11: 25-26

heh... My "Tracker" could use a paint job, but I'm just dabbing touchup paint on the spots where the paint's chipped. I'd done that before, but got the wrong color, so it looked like my truck had blue measles. I've been scraping the old touch-up off with my pocket knife and putting on new touchup paint... The new paint has a better applicator too, it's a ball-point pen tip the same size and the type used to write on paper. Much better than those little brushes...

Anyway... Slicer sticks!

I'm guessing they slice only the top layer of whatever needs slicing. The Lux equivalent of box cutters? Something that only a truly vicious and bloodthirsty person would take to a fight.

Exactly.....not interested in anything other than really messing and scarring you up.....like I said earlier....this particular POS needs to die.....or at the very least, get so totally trashed and crippled that his predatory days are permanently over.

I won't apologize for my own bloodthirstyness on this point....I had a cousin attacked and slashed up by someone like this some years back and the ONLY way God saved his worthless ass was by letting the cops find him first.....being a triple repeat, he's now doing life w/o parole........but I and several others wanted him dead......I still do.

carefull Sharuuk, I don't know anger enough to want someone dead, but I do know anger and how addictive it can be, if you find yourself hating too many people you may need to lighten up a little.

these kind of people need to change or get out of the way true, but lets not become our own worst fears trying to stop them.
I still say the doctor did it....

I hope you never do. But anger and rage, when appropriate is almost like a warm blanket on a cold night. It can drive you, and keep you alive, or if unchecked, make you act irrationally, without focus and get you killed.

Shyal, she was 13 years old and her attacker was 22......this POS is a waste of oxygen who does not deserve to remain alive. I don't hate him, I actually feel nothing for him other than the wish for a slow, painful demise. Because of his attack on a young girl.....his life in prison will not be pleasant. He is segregated from the general population for his own safety. Still, it's just a matter of time before one of the inmates gets to him. When that happens I will lift a glass in a silent toast to whoever killed him.

My friend, I have witnessed more anger, rage and human horror than you can possibly imagine.......and it does not control me.....I control it.

But thank you very much for your concern.....I really appreciate it.
