The first time I read that first narrative, I saw, "One painfully heavy pee later...", to which I immediately responded with, "Wow. What's different about THEIR drug screenings?"

looks like someone (maybe a few someone's) spent too much time staring at the computer screen lately. we need to get you out in the fresh air where the city guards can keep a close eye on you without you knowing it.

For some reason, I can't see the Comic. I'm using the latest version of Firefox, and everything else loads fine. Even Nip and Tuck and Goblin Hollow. Anyone have an idea of whats going on?

... Is that a refresh key? Becuase when I click refresh, it doesn't help, but that fixed it all. Oddness. But thanks.

Your internet browser uses something called a "cache". It's just a folder which contains a bunch of information about websites you visit. The very first time you visit a website, it loads more slowly than subsequent times. Why? Because, in the first visit, the browser saves all the images on the page to your cache. Take this forum, for example. The headers, page dividers, smilies, and those little pictures next to the options of the top are all saved to your cache. It's MUCH faster to load images from your harddrive than from the server a website is being hosted on.

So, when you press F5, or the refresh button in the toolbar, you're telling the browser to do exactly what it always does: load the page using imagines from your cache.

But SOMETIMES your cache screws up, for various reasons. That's when you press Ctrl+F5. This tells the computer: "You know what? Forget the cache. Reload EVERYTHING from the server itself, so there're no mistakes."

Or, you can click the "Refresh" or "Reload" or whatever icon your browser uses while holding down the "shift" key on your keyboard.

That does just about the same thing. Tells your browser to load the page again without using the cache.

To my knowledge, Firefox requires no "activation code" to eliminate pop-ups. Last time I used Opera, I had to enter such a code, or something similar. And unless you've got a friend like I do, you have to pay to get it.

Perhaps I am wrong, but that has been my experience. I have Opera, but never use it. Firefox and IE work well enough for me.
I'm lost. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Thanks.

IE is evil. EVILLLLLLL!!! Seriously, the thing was so full of holes and viruses, my computer was bogged down with viruses and spyware that it wipped out the system, making me have to reinstall the OS. This was, in part, a good thing for it cleaned every bit of the corrupted data off my comp. But in my opinion, Opera is easier to use and runs faster. Also AVG is a good virus software to. Good day everyone!
