Newborn Rac'conan

Post by Yuoofox »

Hello, everyone. :-)

I've been away for a while because I found that forum-ing was taking up too much of my time, but something has peaked my curiosity.

I'm trying to imagine what a Rac'conan infant might look like (both in cartoon and real-life form).

I know we've met characters like Nessie or Quentyn's small crowd of admirers  , but I'm talking about a newborn.

Here's a clue...

A one-week old raccoon. It doesn't have its fur markings yet.

Reminds me of Bandit. Bandit was a raccoon kit we took in and tried to raise. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with him that we never could identify, and he eventually died, but he sure left some really fond memories. ^_^ He had these little shiny eyes that would look at you like you were the grandest thing in the world...

Although, I'm pretty sure Rac'Conan kits would be born with their eyes open.

Offspring of all mammalian species tend to be cute when young so the fathers don't eat them.

Just keep em away from me. I don't deal well with children. Now to tell those kids who play in front of my house the story of Crazy Old Zeke, who lives under the bridge and eats little kids for breakfast. Should send them screaming home.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Awwwww!!! **Yuoo melts into a puddle of cuteness.**

In addition to the eyes, I was also wondering about the body proportions, especially since it would be partially human and partially raccoon.

Soli old boy. You know kids dislike you when they T.P. your house. You'll know that they really hate you if it had been used first.

Our house is impossible to TP, live in a secluded area and have 12 4 legged security systems. We did have trouble with the mailbox getting smashed, so we built one. 1/2 inch steel. Weighs a ton. Someone takes a baseball bat to this from a car window will lose their arm.

I was born fully grown and mature, it was hell on my mother though.

I don't think the momma coon will take kindly to that.

One of my favorite thinking spots is in a county park a couple of miles away from my house. I've seen a family of raccoons wandering around by the inlet, and if kept still and quiet, they will almost come up in your lap to investigate.
