it might be hard to contact the brownies since he can't really speak their language, as for squidge, well it might take valuable time he doesn't have and that is if he could even find squidge, last I checked squidge's position was unaccounted for.

If he wants to infiltrate the gangs he will need to look like someone nobody would want to mess with. A look that is scary and takes no guff from anybody. How about

Too scary! To infiltrate successfully he would have to appear harmless to them so they would drop their guard.

I was thinking "this is a drag" then looking at that last panel with Quentyn messing with his eyelashes I thought "in drag!? na, not a questor thing, or is it?"

A girl would be "someone nobody would want to mess with" (but for different reasons). If Quentyn messes up ROYALY, "A look that is scary" or if he pulls it off "he would have to appear harmless" as a girl.

Pretending to be an airhead might be a good idea: "Ooo I love shiney swords! Can you boys show me how to hold one? Do you have another one for me to hold? This one is too heavy for me...Ooo I LOVE purple...Do you have something to match my dress?"

He is looking at his white forelock, something that marks him from most rac'conans.

That would cause more problems than if he acted tough and possibly honked off the whole gang with his "macho". 'Raise no suspicions' is the prime objective to be able to get in with the Royals easily.

I don't think playing dumb would work, these are street people who live by their wits.

As for me, I try to avoid sharp objects.
