The shades is an area where curiosity not only 'kills' the cat, but ties lead bricks to its feet and tosses it into the river.

it's for places like this that i don't like big cities, that and the big corporations that live there, and the chaos, and the noise, and... well i pretty much just don't like big cities.

Just level it, plain and simple. Put in a nice Wal-Mart.

Well just use it as a stepping stone, knew plenty of people who started at Wally World and moved onto bigger and better things. Heck, the one has an 05 Stang.

Hey Sol...I got my Cat D-5 bulldozer APC with quad .50's on a 360 gimble mount, side mounted Mk19 40mm belt fed grenade launchers and fore & aft flamethrowers.....got anything you'd like to add, and would you like to join me in a little "urban clean-up & renewal"?

This is a useless tactic: I believe Solidus has bunker-busters.

Thermo-baric FAB's are
just for that contingency. They proved to be excellent for the deep mountain bunkers in Afghanistan.

I have to find it interesting how everyone's focused on Sol's arsenel, yet no one's even considered what
I might have........just an observation.

I definitely considered it:
Solidus has a few Personal Tricks up his sleeve that he frequently bares; you, Sharuuk, seem to have an nigh inexhaustible Super Arsenal with every weapon known to man. . .and maybe a few that aren't. I suspected you had bunker-busters; but, the bunker-buster has become one of Solidus' select theme weapons. When I think of Solidus, I think of bunker-busters and cardboard boxes. When I think of you, I think of limos and Every Weapon Under God. So, you're only vaguely associated with any particular weapon.

Thank you!!! I'll take that as a compliment. (I think

)
While my "Super Arsenal" isn't exactly inexhaustible, IRL I
am a collector/builder with a lot of knowledge on the subject and more than a few toys. Solidus has seen pix of one of my creations I described some posts back. And I have a few colleagues with
far more exotic toys than I have, that I
do have access to. So far, in all my posts, every weapon I've spoken of or explained, exists and is in current use, and with only 1 or 2 exceptions, I've had the pleasure of gaining hands-on experience with them.
Being an armed chauffeur has it's perks, I've met some really interesting and wonderful people who have treated me as an equal and been
very generous, along with the requisite number of total sh*theads that think I'm their personal door mat. Fortunately, the former greatly outnumber the latter. However, the coolest thing I've ever been in control of was a million-dollar private limo (Mercedes) that was both heavily armored and
armed with everything from front grill machineguns to hydraulic rams fore and aft, tear gas ejectors to shaped charges in the bumpers. To say that I was somewhat disappointed that no-one attempted an enroute assassination or abduction is a bit of an understatement. I
really wanted to see what this thing could do.
So I guess your thinking of me means, limos and major firepower is fairly accurate.....and I'll take that as a compliment.
Need a REALLY SAFE ride downtown?

I think quentyn could use that.
He's stuck in the tumbledowns with basically no weaponry, and a purse full of coins ... and we know that he's already been labled an "easy mark" by those thugs.
Fire up that armed limo! Ill ride shotgun *cher-chakt* litterally!

Climb aboard some
serious luxury whoop-ass on flat-proof wheels. Lets go give our little Rac buddy some quality back-up.

Ahem.
Considering what else has just come out, I offer two pithy coments regarding todays strip.
Panel one:
The force, Quentyn. Use the force!
The last panel:
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy
The whole decoy thing blows my 'snatch and grab by a young thief' out of the water. This is way too profesional and thought out.
On the plus side, don't forget that the best diviner in the seven villages is seriously in Quentyns camp. Whatever they are using to block Quentyn might not be so impenetrable to Nessie.
As for local toughs, don't forget: small as he is Quentyn, with or without magic weapons, is a pretty tough customer himself. He also now has the experience to lend him some needed self confidence.
