I got NO problem with that, love to have ya.....I'm pretty sure Solidus would appreciate it as well. After all, three can hunt better than two. And being a lynx, I'll just bet you're great at shredding.Luna_Northcat wrote:I won't intrude if you don't want, but...I'd love to be in on this. In fast & quiet, tracking down a small and hidden group and taking them out hand-to-hand to avoid hurting innocents -- this is the sort of thing I'm good at.

lessee what I got in the armory,
ok, thermo/lowlight/ultraviolet/sonar goggles...
...multi-function-rounds compatibable rapid fire rifle with scope and antivehicular settings...
...bandolier of 36 grenades, 6 EMP, 6 flash, 12 concussive, 6 plasma, and 6 thermal detonators for good measure...
...heat/light/sound absorbant/sensative over flexible suit (this baby can bend in directions you couldn't without breaking a couple bones first!)...
...multi-frequency intensity-alterable ambient-energy regenerating force field generator and projector (very pricy)...
...and one stainless steel machette!
ok, so who gets what?

Whooo Hoooo.....NICE selection..*shouts*...Hey Sol....you checked out what Shyal's got to offer for the mission.....an Luna's asked to come along too. Don't worry......she doesn't consider you to be on the menu.shyal_malkes wrote:lessee what I got in the armory,

Horsebow is definitely better for any enclosed/cramped area; longbows snag too easy, take too much room. What kind of axe you got? And what other kinds of sharp pointy things?capnregex wrote:This sounds almost too much fun to resist.
Let's see, what would I want to take..
Longbow, or horsebow.. I think horsebow..
Axe or sword... Both..![]()
Various other sharp pointy things.. check..
Various other usefull items ... check ...
*Personal side note here*
I absolutely LOVE how we're assembling a back-up and "rescue" squad to go help Quentyn recover Wildcard even though none of this will have any impact on how Ralph writes the story.
If I'd had a squad like this one IRL for some of the "missions" (for lack of a better term) I've had in the past, I don't think the outcomes would have changed, (99% success rate) but the mission itself would sure as hell have been easier!
Think about this group.....an oversized mutant wolf (me), a female lynx, a male jaguar, all with our natural weapons and hyper-senses plus whatever we add to that, and one, heavily armed, slightly psychotic raccoon!
(It's OK Sol...we STILL LOVE YA & want ya with us!)
What a team......what a WONDERFUL team!! 8) The bad buys better be crappin' their shorts.......bad news has arrived!

Don't leave me out, this sounds like too much fun to miss! Every mission needs an airborne command and control center complete with night vision and ultrasound sensors, and I can double up as CAS when necessary. Plus I keep the mosquitoes down.

*looks through his inventory*
Let's see I will use the urban camo BDU, night scope and an Anti Personal sensor. Now for the weapons.
*Thinks and ponders, something that would be perfect for a more urban setting*
Hmmm I think the FN P90 will be best for this situation.
*gets geared up*

Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.
Don't leave me out either...
For the urban stteing I have my dagger-producing bracier. Nothing better than throwing about thirty short, pointy blades in the close quarters of the city. Even better, when they have done the damage they dissapear, magic bullet anyone?
For personal protection I wear a well-oiled leather armor, with the allways useable phase-jump enchantment on it.
Being a dog I have one of the best smelling senses in the world, I can allways sniff up the pray.
So... do I measure up?

Hmmm buy insurrance before we destroy it in the "accidental" fire, that way we can purchase the new supllies and building materiale.shyal_malkes wrote:ok, so first we save the sword,
assassinate the thieves that took it,
tear down the crumbling and inner parts of the tumbledowns,
tear down the rest of the tumbledowns
use the previous occupants of the tumbledowns to re-build the area
are we missing anything?
