Considering that they were still making animated cartoons with painted cels when I was growing up, it's pretty impressive to see how far they've come, that anyone with the right computer program could do that. At that rate, you should be able to do a full TOTQ animated short feature in about a week.

What is a "Giffy"? Something related to a .gif image?

"Giffy" is actually an alternate spelling of "jiffy". It means a very short amount of time. It's also used technically to describe the duration of one tick of a computer's clock.

What is a "Giffy"? Something related to a .gif image?
I have heard it used to describe this sort of animation (tho, admittedly, not in a while).
Basically, an animated Gif image. It contains a series of images and cycles through them. About the simplest form of computer animation.
You can fool some of the people all of the time
And all of the people some of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
