BAH!

Post by Dalak Lutra »

WHY DO WHEN I LEARN ABOUT SOMETHING IT APPEARS EVERY WHERE!!!!!
Not more than a week ago I learned about fractals and I thought they were really cool, and BAM here they are in the comic strip I read. OMG.
Also everytime I learn a new word, the next time I can't think of a word the one I just learned is 's perfik' word for it. OR I hear it used every where for the next 2 to 3 days.
IT NEVER FAILS!
Cooky fractals...

Same exact thing, I know what you mean.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

I discovered fractals back about 1985. They're easy to get lost in, as I soon discovered. Anyone who ever said that an image cannot be art if it was generated using a mathematical algorithm and a computer has never seen fractals.

Check out the FractInt User webpage for an awesome free program for generating fractals. There are versions available for several different platforms, but since it can be a bit confusing getting to the right version, here is a direct link to the Windows PC version of FractInt.

I was fractal image programming on MC-10, TRS-80, and Vic 20 from theory. The computers are better but the concept is still the same. I look at our bodies as a physical display of the fractal codes in our DNA. I think a lot of AI can be developed through the creation of a programming framework with that framework being the result of fractal-style expansion.
