Personally, I think they're pigheaded and wrong.
Why am I saying this?
Because while I don't respect his politics, I do respect him as a political opponant, and do recognize that he is more informed on the subjects than I am, usually. Its always interesting debating Ralph whenever the subject of politics comes up, especially since he defends his viewpoints and attacks others contrary (Or even just different) with a vehemence I havn't seen since my friend got bitten by a donut.
The guy ate the whole dozen. Only they were Krispy Kreme Original Glazed, so he threw up right after... >.>;;
Where was I? Oh, yeah.
The thing is, there are others that share Ralph's political veiwpoints. Now, I don't like hating people over something as trivial as politics in a forum dedicated to a comic that we all love (Or else why are we posting here?), so I figured out a way to deal with it:
Each first post by each person, in each thread, shall be treated, for the purposes of opinions, fueds, arguements, and angst, shall be the first post I have ever seen by that person on the subject.
Erm. That is, each thread shall be its own world when it comes to that, and shall not be influenced by others.
Or, at least, I'll try.
So, if someone gets my hackles raised in another thread, and posts something else in another thread, I will reply nice and calmly to the second thread, and then proceed to attempt to flame the eyebrows off the person in the first thead.
Why am I doing this? Well...
...because this forum IS dedicated to a comic that, at the very least, I love, and that I'm going to give you all the benefit of the doubt and ascribe to you the same reason why I am here, to talk to others about a comic I do enjoy.
Everything else is incidental. I don't want to have bad feelings when I come to this forum to talk about Tales of the Questor. Hell, I don't even want stressful feelings.
Why am I posting this? Its part of a vain attempt to try to explain myself, and an attempt to declare that I am going to try to leave each topic to its thread, and not let my actions towards ANY person (Except Solidus, cause I hate you with the fiery passion of a supernova) in any thread, effect my actions towards them in other threads (Except Solidus.)
