For those of you who have ordered the new book through Lulu.com, I'm afraid there will be a few product delays. Apparently the printer computers at Lulu took a look at the PDF file I uploaded, saw that instead of version <indecipherable alphanumeric gibberish> that it was <indecipherable alphanumeric gibberish-1), and promptly crapped their digital pants.

What this means is that all the software I've been using to create and edit my PDF files is WORTHLESS CRAP, and I will now have to wait while a software company ships me a secondhand copy of Adobe Acrobat 6, and then recreate the entire file from scratch, then upload it YET AGAIN to lulu.com so that your orders can be filled. It may be 2-3 weeks more, therefore, before your orders can be printed and shipped.

Again I do apologize for this inexcusable delay (takes a few minutes to stab his Adobe CEO voodoo doll through the heart 5 or 6 times with a knitting needle), but I do assure you your orders WILL be eventually printed and delivered.

Rats, fudge and puppy feet - I was just about to place my order. However I can wait - it will make receiving the books that much more, dare I say it, pleasurable?

Yipe.

Too bad Adobe Acrobat doesn't have one of Microsoft Word's better features (at least, one it had last I checked) -- the ability to save in the format of an earlier version.
