I KNEW there was a reason I liked Lord M. That "confession" to Quentyn took a LOT of guts on his part. There is little harder for a father to do than to tell a virtual stranger in your house that you feel like a failure to your own son. I hope Quentyn appreciates just how much that took for the most powerful merchant in the Seven Villages to tell him that.
And it would seem that Quentyn's job just got a bit more complex.
1) Find the cause of Colin's night terrors and put a stop to them.
2) See if there's a way to have Lord M. be the one who accomplishes it.

save the day and let daddy be the big hero for the kit. Sounds like a noble thing to do.
Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

And if done right, Lord M. will have no afterthoughts or doubts as to whether or not he's a good father and a proper "hero" to Colin.SolidusRaccoon wrote:save the day and let daddy be the big hero for the kit. Sounds like a noble thing to do.
I think Quentyn and Lord M. could work together quite well. MOF I think it would be VERY beneficial to both if Quentyn were to ask His Lordships' council/assistance. I further believe it would do MUCH to bolster Lord M's self image as to his effectiveness as a protective father.
