Krista, skimping a few corners is okay, I guess... But skimping sleep isn't always the best thing to do. I enjoy Utukki and HOI very much and I am probably one of hopefully many, but not always so, patient readers. I'm that way cause it takes forever for me to get a story written, or finished. I was looking at Ishtar's current form with my friend, and she agreed with me that I kinda look like Ishtar if I was ever drawn Manga style... even down to the eyes which show up as either blue or gray....<P>------------------

Argh... I am sooooo tired. This staying up until 2 or 3 a.m. every Monday and Thursday night to get the comic drawn is starting to wear on me. Worse, I'm afraid it's showing in the comic. I can't produce the quality I want when I'm trying to do a whole page in one night, and then still be able to get up and go to work in the morning and function properly.<P>So that's why I'm occasionally cheating on the backgrounds. It saves time and I hate drawing backgrounds anyway, and so far I haven't missed a deadline (well, with the exception of the unfortunate delayed-comic incident that killed off King of Doma).<P>I'm still not too happy with today's comic because I re-used the picture of Brittany from the chapter heading, so I may do an new and better pic for that lower left panel this weekend.<P>Ah well.
