Mullets aren't making a comeback. Here in the Midwest, they never really went away. As long as there are Jefferson Starship concerts at the state fair, there will be the mullet.
You know, just an observation...Van Halen cut their hair, Poison cut their hair, Ann and Nancy Wilson cut their hair, Jon Bon Jovi cut his hair...
WHY THE HELL CAN'T ANY OF THEIR FANS???!!!!
Mindy, put down that hairspray and blowdryer!

[This message has been edited by Tonja (edited 04-27-2001).]

I think the fascination with mullets is the whole power thing. These men consider their mullets to be akin to the lion's mane. So riddle me this, Batman:
WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE FEMALE MULLET?
I've seen 'em, and they're scary--almost more scary than the receding mullet.
------------------

Dude... freaky... it's scary that you mentioned mullets... because last night, I went to a Wallflowers concert and my seat was right next to the REAL Joe Dirt! I swear! This dude had a mullet, a fuzzy moustache, dressed in a gas attendant uniform, smelled of cheap cigarettes and body odor and every time the warm up band would start a song, he hollered like an idiot and acted like he was playing the drums, and actually kicked his legs up in the air. Blech. But the good news is, when the Wallflowers came out, I moved and ended up sitting next to this really cute girl... so, alls well that ends well! ^_^
BTW, I have yet to see Joe Dirt, but my dad and I think it'll be the funniest movie of the year when we finally do see it.
------------------

One of the Purdue Newspaper's comic strips did a series on the different types of mullets, and one of the funniest describes what BJ calls the 'receding mullet'...
It was known as the "Skullet"
If it ever ends up online, I'll post a link.
-Zodo

It's a motorcycle thing... if you like long hair, but live in a mandatory helmet state, you eventually end up with a mullet.
Doc
