So now BJ can draw a guest strip for Joey, but can't draw any new ones for his own? *sigh* Why does the Muse have to be such a terrible tease?

Not a problem. In another week BJ will forget that Jackie's Fridge is HIS strip, then he'll start drawing guest strips for it and it will update again.

I've been slacking (this is Joey here, not BJ; he'll get his turn) in the strip area lately. I really DO want to start Coleman soon, but I recently got a nicely paying gig doing some largescale watercolor paintings of wine bottles. Not exactly as exciting as drawing Mindy with Ripley or Darron and Liza at the gynecologist (yupyup), but it's payin', so I'm doin.' I should be back on track in a couple of weeks. There will be updates, I'm just not sure what.

As for BJ, I'm just happy he wants to draw anything. We could switch strips for a while, but then I wouldn't get to draw aliens or Darron as a viking. Maybe BJ needs some aliens in Jackie's Fridge. It worked for me when I got bored drawing Damien and Liza talking in the locket storyline...

Eesh. No good excuse for me, I just burnt out drawing the BK. Not the characters, just the backgrounds. I have a couple pencil-only BK strips inked and waiting to be colored, and I have the next one nearly pencilled. It's a dumb guy on a cell phone, and I hate the layout. Maybe if I just start from scratch...

It was awfully fun drawing the Joke Baby, though.
Here's to the worst times of my life.

It could be worse.

I could be doing guest strips... and NOBODY wants that.
