To all who still read this comic...an update.

Post by J-Dawg »

Okay, for my dear grandma, my mom, and the ten other people out there :-? , here's the latest TS scoops...

- Tonja Steele will be resuming in two to three weeks. I'm being vague because BJ and I will be in Rosemont for the Wizard World ComicCon this weekend, and we'll be camping for a week following that. There will be updates of some sort on Tuesdays and Thursdays, though.

- Please consider buying the new Coleman Elementary book. There's many strips in it you'll never see on the web (marketing ploy!), and I'm quite proud of it. It's four bucks (cheaper than the first!), and until I get it up in the store, feel free to email me about ordering. This Keen gig pays nothing except the money I make on books, and if I started making more dough, it might add up to more updates. A thank you to those who've already bought books, too!

- Um...Ricky Williams is a big jerk.

- Also, speaking of buying junk, I'm considering putting the Locket story into a book. If you'd be willing to buy something like that, pipe up! If there's enough of a demand for it, I'll print it up late this fall.

- Bad news. The Zema 2 script is in tatters. I have a bunch of really good jokes, but no way to string them together. I know if this was Hollywood, that sure wouldn't stop me. I'd get J-Lo, Halle Berry and Mariah Carey together, and BAM! Instant movie! But, rather than release a 'Catwoman' like product, I'm going to do other stuff.

-Good news: Stories born from pots of coffee and oreo cookies: The Passion of Damien, and a fun little story involving Liza dating a girl and Tonja n' Mindy going to a funeral or two.

Don't worry, once I get my bank accounts settled here, I'm gonna buy an ASSLOAD of books. (Have you gotten the strips collection reprinted yet?)

I want one! I want one! How much for shipping? Where do I send my money?

I couldn't make it up to Chicago this weekend. Partially due to GenCon being this upcomming weekend. Partially due to me being broke more or less.

But let me know, I can afford $10 for a book and shipping.

We just got back from the oh-so-lackluster comic con (for us, anyway)... I'm currently working on getting CE2 into the store, but I've decided on a cover price of 4 bux plus one for shipping (so 5). If you need your sexy fireman fix, email me, and I'll set ya up with books n' stuff.

Disclaimer, though; BJ and I will be on VACATION (wheeeeeeeeee!) starting Thursday, and although that won't change his update schedule at all (ah-HEM!), a.) I will be updating, but sketches only till I get back, and Tonja returns!, and b.) if you send money, you won't get your books for over a week after you send dough (just like Ebay!). Just a warning.

Thanks to all who bought books at the 'con, and I promise to have some real strips up by the time I get back from vacation!
