Tonja Steele: Hiatus

Post by J-Dawg »

I have recently gotten a job offer that requires me to move for the summer. The hours will be long, and as any of you know who've moved before, it will be consuming a great deal of my time (the job and the move). So, as much as I hate to put the strip on hiatus for the summer, I have to to save my sanity. If this angers or irritates any of you, I apologize (not really), but paying work has to take precedence over this strip right now. I love drawing Tonja Steele, and will continue to over the summer, but I will have enough deadlines to worry about without the TS deadline on top of it. So, until further notice, TS will be put on hiatus until September.

Thank you to all who've continued reading,

Joey

I'm shooting for December. Why so long? Cuz two reasons: I'm really working my butt off trying to get my caricaturing off the ground in a big way. And, reason two, I've completely redesigned all the characters over the summer, and have to practice drawing them so they all look the same from drawing to drawing.

If anyone's miffed about that, sorry, but I've been doing this strip for over six years, and I haven't been able to make a living off it yet (not even close, really). I enjoy doing it, but I have to concentrate some of my energy on work that brings home the bacon.

I'll post more specific updates as they come along...

Awesome. I can't wait to see what it looks like.

Also, kick BJ's ass for me. The slacker.
