Bernhard is just trusty old Bernhard.... and although I love Pullman, I'll humbly point out that the first "Belle" script was written well before the first novel of "His Dark Materials" was published.

BTW - There'll be a lot on the bears' background in California Belle when it starts running in March.....ehm... April?...
