Heh, if anything I'm giving mad props to you. How does the old saying go? Comic panel theft is the sincerest form of mad props? Works for me!
And really that panel has the closest thing to a story behind it than any other comic I've done. The first thing that popped in my head was what someone I was talking to online suggested, show Dinky in a car scared that Joey was going to hit him for 40 points of damage for being late. Then I decided that that was out of character for both my character and Dinky. So I decided that I would use the panel where Andy is making an ass out of himself to the canadian girl but put cut the girl out and put Dinky in. Then I thought about using the picture of the cow being turning into pure happiness, but change the picture to the cow being turned into a slime. Then it hit me, slime jerky. The rest is history.
For the record, I was going to ask you first but I remembered how happy I was to see an anvil in Andy's flash movie come out unexpectedly and I figured you'd be the same way. Seems it worked.
As cool as Ridley is as a hidden character (and don't get me wrong, that is incredibly awesome), resurrecting a pair that only appeared in a first generation game from the NES is much cooler. Ice Climbers reign supreme!!!
