Welcome to The Makeshift Miracle!

Jim,
Great work on this comic, I look forward to watching the story grow! Excellent composition, trippy light/shadow use, and such neat colors. And the drawings? Wow. Each one's good enough to be a poster. And kudos for the tutorials and beautiful geocities site -- though you may want to move it to keepspace since it's exceeding allowed bandwidth and locking people out. Anyway, many thanks!
PS: I found this site through a link on Lee Adam Herold's "Chopping Block" -- http://www.choppingblock.org/
-angstorm
[This message has been edited by angstorm (edited 09-29-2001).]
[This message has been edited by angstorm (edited 09-29-2001).]

Great stuff man!!
Makes me wish I would've be able to keep doing Zap Jones, instead of burning myself out so quick.
Can't wait to see how the story develops.
------------------

Thanks. Actually, some people have mentioned that putting together a store on Cafe Press would be good for turning some of my favorite images into mugs, shirts, etc... I think that may be a bit premature, but I'm thinking down the road that would be fun.

quote:

Hey Jim, I have to say that I am very impressed with what I have seen in your comic so far. I really enjoy your art, especially your coloring style. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see where this story goes.

Woooooow. This is beautiful! Amazing artwork, and i really like the blue shades. SO much more interesting than just black on white. Thanks! BTW, I followed the link in from the Keenspace Top 99, in case you are curious.

Great style, and storytelling...I would go on, but I am sure that the lying on of compliments gets to be real old after awhile
~dave

Well, it is very flattering. It's a great feeling getting praise from people and knowing that there's an audience for the work I'm doing. It makes it easier to spend the time on the pages.
Hearing where people found the page from is useful. Letting me know what they like about the page is also helpful. Any questions or suggestions would also be great.
Heck, people can post just about anything here (except spam). I'm not picky.
