Okay, Jim... I realize that I shouldn't be finding fault, but something in today's strip bothered me. The left side of the room shows a baseboard, which, if followed to the vanishing point, would pass one or two feet BENEATH the stairs, which are on the same floor. This leads me to believe that the 'miracle' has introduced a rolling slope from a sunken front room to the landing at the base of the stairs, gently grassing over a step or three. Or maybe there was a wheelchair ramp from the front room. Or maybe (and this is the possibility I list last of all, because I find it the most unlikely) Jim botched the perspective lines when drawing the picture.
So what is it?
--Howard

Hey Howard,
Impossible as it may be, I botched that damn vanishing point
I redid that page yesterday after an earlier version was even more messed up. Apparently my brain wasn't functioning at full capacity while I plotted that sucker out. I know better *slap slap*.
The back wall is pushed back... the door frame is raised because of that and the stairs pushed a bit to compensate as well.
I hope it holds up to your scrutiny
Thanks for keeping me on my toes. I guess this is Makeshift Miracle Special Edition now... do I need to add Greedo firing first?
------------------

Well, it looks much better now.
I seldom draw wide enough pictures to have to worry about the intersection of vanishing point lines. Thus I wouldn't have said anything except that the picture was playing with my eyes in a weird way. Good fix, Jim.
--Howard

If Greedo fires first, I'm quitting this comic. :-D
