New forums = sucky poo?
I'm seriously thinking of making these new forums the villain in an upcoming strip. They're slow, pastel-ugly and full of blinking, winking, smiling crap.
And only load half the time.
Arrgh!

I wouldn't say they're "sucky poo," but I keep wanting to lick my monitor to taste the forum's candy-sweet sugary goodness.Shepherd wrote:I'm seriously thinking of making these new forums the villain in an upcoming strip.

This is the first time I've been able to see the forums...
...in about 48 hours. They used to be ugly and functional, and now they're cute-ugly and barf-a-riffic.
I DO NOT NEED EMOTICONS IN MY LIFE.
IT SOUNDS TOO MUCH LIKE "DECEPTICON" FOR ME TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH.

It's working... for now.
Looks like this forum is working now... if only everyone hadn't given up on it already...

Forums back-ish?
Well, by "Back" you mean that the page is taking between one and five minutes to refresh a page, then yes, they're "back".
Personally, I think that this was a clever ploy by Keenspace to get folks to move their forums off of their servers, yet still offer the free service to their members. Still, I suppose that one gets what one pays for...

The Amazing ~Steve-o spun:
Ok, so maybe it's not so much a conspiracy as an evil plot.
Right, plot's the wrong word. maybe it's more of a dastardly deed.
Erstwhile event?
Malicious moment?
Nano-second of doom?
ooh, better stop before we start branching into parallel space.
Ah, so you're part of the conspiracy too, eh?TA has that effect on people.
