Gremlins 2

I took the time to watch Gremlins 2 this morning (damn cold kept me up). It dawned on me just how much it closely resembles Dawn of the Dead in tone and subtext. Has anyone else noticed this?<P>/ck<P>------------------

No, but I do remember a younger Crispy telling me years ago that it was one of the best self-parodies ever created. (Which I tend to agree with. That Phoebe Cates re-telling the horrors of President's Day still cracks me up.)
