answer and question and something irrelevant

Post by Clem »

Answer: As to the Buddha vs Yoda question, according to Buddhist legend, Devadatta attempted to attack the Buddha and was instantly snatched to the worst of the Buddhist hells in a ball of flame. Yoda would know better than to try it.

Question: Mirober, what do you have against werebeasts anyway? Every time one appears, whammo! The lucky ones are just killed. Why not give the poor guys a break once in a while? Arrrooooo!

Apropos of nothing, I just saw Whistler's Mother on tour at the Detroit Institute of Arts. More than any other painting I have seen, photos and scans don't do it justice.

Pity the werebeast.
Cursed by gods hunted by man,
Mirober his bane.

Hrm. True. I'll have to have a comic where a 'thrope gets a big steak dinner. And eaten by lobsters. But mostly steak dinner. (Seriously, not sure why no werewolf has yet survived; might just have to correct that)

Mm. That's one that I'd like to see one day. I went to the Milwaukee art museum yesterday, but didn't see any really famous ones that I know of; still, they had some nice pieces (I especially liked the clockworks).

Damn straight. :D
