No comic tomorrow.

Post by Mirober »

Sorry guys. No comic tomorrow. I've gotten a little fed up with the job search and school, as none of my prospects have born any fruit. So, I've decided to become a wandering monk; travelling the west on foot, helping the helpless and fighting any and all ninjas I come across. Next update should be April 5th, 2013.

Well, good luck! Just be careful of the peripherally relevant flashbacks.

Freelance swashbuckling is way overrated. The painkiller bill eats up your profits. And if you destroy all the ninjas, what will we do when an evil shogun dishonors our clans?

Heh. You guys rock.

But yeah, seriously, no comic tomorrow. College is driving me freaking bugnuts again. (And this is something you're probably going to hear a lot more often over the next few weeks).

Hey, I just noticed! Is this a permenant thing? Or a teaser? And how long did you think it would take for someone to notice. Can anyone figure out what I'm babbleing about? It's pretty simple, but I think I'm the first to get it. It is a fairly small addition after all. :P
And Matt, good luck with college and exams. I'll just hope you won't abandon Strange Daze once your career sets in.

P.S. Can anyone help me figure out what I have to do to get a picture to stay in a post?

Yeah, I noticed. I was just about to comment on it myself. A new Strange Daze milestone.

No, I'm not going to say what it is. Hee-hee!

What, doesn't the IMG tag work? What image did you want to post?

Y'know, it's an indication of just how fragged my brain is right now that it took me a good twenty minutes to figure out what the hell you guys were talking about. :)

Anyway; for those who are clueless (like myself), what they are referring to in such a clandestine manner is my decision to start drawing five fingers on a hand (well, four and a thumb). And yeah, I'm planning on sticking with it. I could probably talk about artistic conventions related to genre and style, but really, my thought process was more along the lines of "I think I'll draw Thera ticking off points on her hand. Hmm. I guess I'll also draw her hand with the normal amount of digits." And that was pretty much it. To be honest, I hadn't really give it much thought (which is probably why I was going crazy trying to figure out what you guys were talking about).
