Fanart (sorta)

Post by Melannen »

/me walks into the forum. It is dark, lonely and empty, reeking of abandoned dreams, despair, and dark secrets. A perfect spot for occult rituals; today an elder god will regain his wings. I pull down my hood and get out the black candles. "Fnglui yanhlu phra---"

Wait, that's not why I came here. I just thought I ought to tell you about the newest self-portrait I've put on my homepage. It was fun. :) Hope you don't mind. It's all true.

I still love the comic. Muchly!

And, since I love nitpicking, inThursday's comic, you're showing your Canadianness ; ) . Innsmouth is in the US, so she'd have been a girl scout, not a girl guide.

Nice! I love it! :D

And thanks for the nitpicking. I never realized they were Girl Scouts in the USA... I'll change it now, before I forget.

And oh, but that's an accurate description of our forums.

Hmm... would that be Dead Hat Cthunix that you're running there?

Nice to see you back again, Melannen!

Thanks!

I don't know which would be more frightening, that Alfedenzo already had that page on his server, or that he put it up just now . . .

Actually, if you look at the book leaning on my cpu, it's R'lyehdat , which I believe is a distribution similar to deadhat but slightly less commercial in outlook, being as its offices are sunk deep beneath the sea.

At any rate, with Freddy's help and the sacrifice of several hundred pirated mp3's to Shub-internet, everything's working now. Cthunix is *far* less evil than what I was using before.

(Although I'm rather creeped out that my mp3's of "The Old Gods Return" and "Goodnight and thank you" somehow got intermixed.)

I whipped up the page in response to your artwork. I noticed the book after I made the page, but Dead Hat is much easier to fit in the same space as Red Hat.

And don't be too frightened. It's about time that I've worked on something new like this.
