My big confession: I'm horrible at naming characters. Normally I can just steal a name from somewhere else and twist it as necessary, but I have no idea what to call the Hound of Tindalos that Freddie's just adopted.
What does this mean to you, the reader? It means that I'm going to have you do the dirty work of thinking up names for the Hound, and Liz and I will pick the one we like the best. I don't know what kind of prize we might have for the winner. Maybe some fanart or a cameo or something. It depends on who wins and what Liz feels like doing.
The poll is to start people off with ideas, but feel free to add your own.
One last thing: The Hound gets named next Tuesday, so if you've got an amazing name, post it here before then.

Give it a traditional name - that can be angelicized into a normal dog name like Fido
And Fluffy is already taken by Roger's pet rock

Fluffy
Hmmm, well I had forgotten about Roger's pet rock.
Is the hound male or female? Or both? Heh, that'd be funny. How would they get rid of the puppies? I doubt they could offer them in the paper.
Time to get the hound fixed I think, but where to find a vet that specializes in Cthuloid creatures (or would that be Azathothian animals?).
I have a dog named Lacy. She's a pure white mutt with long lacy fur. Anyway, when she is bad we call her Lacyfur (ie Lucifer) or the lacy white devil. Lacy would be an ironic name for the hound (considering it's hairless), if it turned out to be female.
Could always call it Lucky, RinTinTindy or something equally silly. Hmmm, Lassie the Tindalos Hound....What's that girl? Timmy's fallen in the Shuggoth pit? Oh no! Not again. lol

Hmm.
Calinmoon, you have a point. It used to be that one could vote simply be being logged in, but... I don't know. Maybe Mark closed the vote accidently, or something.
At any rate, thank you everyone who has replied. Not only is it nice to get suggestions (and good ones at that) on what to name the hound, but it's also really nice to find out who's reading the comic.
