I also note that Maddie is singularily unphased by a giant monster attack. Is this some kind of commonplace occurance ? The mind boggles.

Also you have to take into account this is a Spoof on all Magical girl cartoons/animes. IE: Sailormoon. So.. a monster probably wouldn't phase her. As for Fanartists.. .
