The universe may not be infinite, but I'm one of those chaps that does believe it's ever-expanding. Which means that there is no real "outside the universe" since it's always going outward. Unless you want to discuss the concept of nothingness, which is an entirely different subject.<P>And no, I don't think I said I believe time is infinite... or at least I shouldn't have. To believe in forever means I must believe in forever both ways--past and future. Everything, to me, must have a beginning, even the universe and all must have been sparked by something. The big big had some catalyst, which was caused by something, etc. Without a god or Mystic Magic Special Force to rely on, I can only say "Dunno" as to the true beginning of it all.<P>But we've gone off course again, haven't we?<P>Yes, I do suppose space itself is infinite. I don't think that if you go out far enough in space you'll hit a wall. Maybe it's one of those nifty things where if you go long enough, you'll arrive back at where you started?
