Okay. I want to see who actually visits this forum. With that knowledge, I can see if we have nothing to talk about, or if I'm just not too popular.Fortunately, I'm getting about the same amount of intelligent messages (0) as, let's say... RPG World's forum. Heh. Nice beans reference.Didn't know you read, as well as visited the forum. What do you think of the comic? Any criticisms/comments/suggestions?(Everyone else (um... right, "everyone") can still post their hellos here.)------------------

As for the beans reference...Would've helped if it were brought up again three months ago, for obvious reasons =PAs for the comic, I think it's pretty good so far ^_^Though I do have one suggestion: Considering the new layout and colors recently applied to the site, the colors for visited/unvisited links (maybe active and hover too, but they're of lesser importance) are going to need changed to something a bit more...Easy on the eyes. Blue and purple on a blue-green background is a headache to read at times O.o[This message has been edited by Ragnarok (edited 10-28-2001).]

Nope...They're still the same as before (and I've refreshed the page numerous times to make sure it's not a problem with my Temp. Internet Files cache)....That is, if by same, it means that:
<UL>
<LI>Both the "comic" and "background" sections of the page have blue (unvisited) and purple (visited) links,
<LI>Neither type of link is underlined (well, blue/unvisited ones are if the cursor's hovering over them),
<LI>There are no "active" or "hover" colors/formats set for the links.
</UL>I'm not sure, but you might want to check your coding (the pixel value after border-left-width is missing a semicolon after the "px", but since it's listed right before the link colors I'm not sure if that's what's causing it), I've looked at it myself and KNOW that the colors for the links should be different than what I mentioned above, yet for some reason it's not showing up here :/...Only other possibility is a browser incompaitability or lack of CSS support, and since I know my browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2) can handle the type of CSS used on the page, I doubt either of those could be the case as well...

Yeah, I noticed that too. I don't know what could be wrong. The CSSs show the right colors I want (check here <A HREF="http://midgard.keenspace.com/styles.css" TARGET=_blank>http://midgard.keenspace.com/styles.css</A> ), but the page doesn't. I re-uploaded for good luck, and in about an hour, I should see if it worked...------------------

Hey Jeffy. No, I don't usually visit your forum. Guess I will now. I just stopped by to see if you linked to me so I could link back which you did so I will put your into my "they link to me" box and then if I get around to reading your comic maybe move your to the recomendations box.Oh and I'm glad you got your font done. Easy to make huh? I told you so! Take that Blambot! The blambot guy said it would cost me hundreds of dollars to have a custom font made, but Corel's ass kicking saved me from that and plus my beautiful handwriting is probably better anyway. I'll probably get your font and maybe use it for effects or something. ^_^------------------

Actualy, Brian, I ended up not using Corel Draw. I consulted the help files and everything, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to work. I ended up using this other font making software instead... thanks for at least giving me the idea, anyway.------------------

If you still recall what it was, could you put up the <LINK> piece of coding that you were using for that style sheet?I just noticed a few other pages that use that same line (and these ones actually work...I didn't think it was possible beforehand), and I want to see if it's a glitch in the line of coding that's preventing yours from working, or if maybe there's something in the style sheet that browsers just can't handle...

I believe that that CSS is now unneccessary. The coding on the pages other than the main page do not require any alteration in text or link colors - they use the browser-provided ones. Or at least they should.I could even delete that CSS file now.Perhaps we should continue this in another topic, okay?------------------

All right then...I only was asking for that if you had been thinking of bringing back the CSS file to try it out again, and this time be successful with it =)Of course, IMO, what's being used now for it (I think that that too is CSS, though not as a separate file) is better, especially since it's easier to work with, and has already been tested before (and is known to work ^_^).
