Thanks for your good words, guys. Actually, I'm trying to keep a stiff upper lip, as I got a three-week gig on the organising commitee for an event that will be running in my city rather shortly, so at least there'll be some money in at some point.
But thanks for your support. Very appreciated that you took the time to write.
Case
------------------

When I lost my job a drank a lot and started thinking stupid things. I convinced a hacker buddy to help me fire bomb the place but we got half way there and said screw it and blew up a Tim Hortons. Why the hell are there so many tim hortons in canada? Huh? Huh? I bet Case knows something about it.
Anyways,best of luck man.

You know, that really sucks. There's nothing like financial free fall to really scare you. I've been there. It's my chief reason for trying to maintain at least two steady gigs at any one time.
Good luck, Case.
I blame the Bush Administration, by the way.
------------------

Case,
Try not to spend too much time worrying about it. Rather go out there and look for the best job you can. Not quite a year ago I was "let go" from a job after not even 3 months and spent nearly 3 months unemployed living off my saving and working odd jobs here and there. But, I managed to find a solid paying job eventually and things have worked out ok since then. I'm sure that as long as you have hope and drive that everything will work out in the end. Best wishes to you buddy.
Rick
