Tim Burton is probably my favorite filmmaker of all time.
Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and the original Batman are among my favorite movies. And although he was basically producing and supervising creation, the Nightmare Before Christmas is my very VERY fanboy film.
There, I said it.
Case
------------------

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait until Monkeybone is released on DVD before I get to see it. You see around my parts, as with most movies which implicate animation, movie theatres rarely release them in the original English version, thrusting the French dubbed versions unto us. And since I refuse to see any movie other than in the original language it was done, I will only be seeing it in a few weeks.
But for what it's worth, I heard it isn't all that good and the monkey is really irritating.
But, I'm a HUGE animation maniac, so I'll give it the benefit.
Case
------------------

I only wish Tim Burton did the rest of the Batmans. None of them were as good as 1 & 2. Then again. None were as good as 1. You just can't beat Nicholson as the Joker.
Pauly
------------------

Tim Burton was one of the animators on
Disney's "The Fox and the Hound."
He said listening to Sandy Duncan in slow
motion for a year is a form of torture.
------------------

Give me Wilt Stillman or don't bother showing me a movie at all.
-IO
I'd rather watch Mask of the Phantasm.
