For some strange and inexplicable reason I opt for Skunk... I really don't know why. He just... Seems... Skunky... Not in a bad way, I mean, he doesn't smell... He just reminds a bit of Pepe Le Pew I suppose...

Anyway! That's just my prediction ^.^

A goat.

For three reasons:

1) It was the first thing that came into my head,
2) I'm told that goats were originally imported into Britain from Scandinavia by the Vikings, which seems particularly appopriate, and
3) it could be nicely symbolic of his allegedly lascivious private life. If you were inclined to think such a thing.

I'm not sure whether any other characteristics match - Eriksson is hardly impetuous and bad-tempered - but that's more thought than I've given other animal assignments in the past...

Anyway, you'd never be able to tell it was him. Did anyone spot that the presenter of the Turner Prize show was based on Melvyn Bragg? Or that dog on Tracey Emin? (The latter was particularly stupid, as there was a 'Tracey Ermine' pun just itching to be used.) Thought not.

Hummm... A goat. I don't know, I've always thought of them as the bad guys. As for llamas, I always thought they were a bit on the aggressive side...

Eep, I'm giving way too much thought to this! Ummm, Rabbit! Yes, he should be a rabbit, as should everyone else! YAY for rabbits! Oh, and hares... Hares are nice too...

Or how about a Puffin? They're nice and... Puffiny...
