well, i couldnt claim to understand everything that was going on, but the symbolism thread helps to explain the overall direction and motivation. not that i <I>need</I> to understand everything about the story to appreciate it. in fact, being in the dark about it, just viewing it as a series of loosely associated stream-of-consciousness series of thoughts and images makes for pretty trippy reading that knowing more about whats being portrayed almost defeats the sense of... or something.<P>j
