*screaming* COW!!!
*jumps up and takes a bite out of a nearby heifer*
Poor Cross-Eyed Cow . . . he never scored.
I kinda liked the previous comic more, Dub; not because of the color, but ya just had more shots that established the situation and characters . .. I think ya should've had a panel that just had Cross-Eyed in the catapult, and a couple of shots of it flying through the air at an insane speed, maybe focusing on it's expression! That would have made the scene funnier and the action more fluid instead of just shwing the cow in the catapult, then showing D&D launch it, ya kinda took the focus off of it. If it were me drawing the scene, I would have also drawn the result of Cross-Eyed Cow's demise, whether it be a big hole in the ground, a big stain on the ground, or , my favorite, a hideously-yet-cartoony mangled-up cow corpse!! But, I get off on drawing beat-up characters!
Otherwise, good job!!
*sprays Dub with a hose filled with tapioca pudding*
*in a Bill Cosby-type voice*
Heyyyy, Dub! Don't forget da PUDDING!!
*runs off laughing*
------------------

I have rabies an' a one-celled monkey in my brain!! Care for some gopher?

Reviews for Tuesday AND THursday's comics:
CNW, Tues.: The snap REALLY scared the crap 0utta me. I thoght he had snapped Chip's NECK. O_O Didn't get the Omega catchphrase either. (Note to self: Don't add this one the the hazards list)
TT, TUes.: Good news: Spocket survived. BAd News: He just suffered a very BOTVGH-like Cow Attack. All you'd need is Cow King saying "Yee! > " and H Cuz would be in here screeaming "RIPOFF!"
CNW, Thurs.: Twister is angry. Looks like he's takign the "BE as messy as possible" part of the job literally...
TT, THurs.: And it looks like Dimwit and DUmwit are ready for action... Can you say Gourry Gabriev anyone? ^_^

Chip 'n' Walter are now on the edge of a cliff... All Twister needs to do is push them! (So why doesn't he, the useless bumbag?)
Gearshift gets beaten up a lot for a homocidal uber-mech, huh? And the Doberman Knights are up to something... I'm guessing King Doberman wants the kids dead too for some reason.
BTW, when does the Tinmen battle end and we find out WHY they're doing all this? (And what the Windblows virus is)

Sorry ^^ BUT - I will tell you this, all of next weeks strips and further are VERY crucial in the portion leading up to Time Trouble #100.

The majority of almost all your questions will be answered or touched upon from that point on up.
As for Chip and Walter - the same thing goes. The Twister battle however....ends Tuesday...

The original phrase comes from Stephen King's THE SHINING. A movie which I had the pleasure of seeing a couple of weeks ago that scared the bejeebus out of me. WEIRD STUFF.
I'm certain you know of a movie bit where a very demented Jack Nicholson shoves an axe into a door and pokes his head in and goes "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE'S JACKIE !!!!"
The kid in that movie posseses something caled "The Shining" and at one point in the movie he begins screaming REDRUM REDRUMREDRUMREDRUM in this unearthly voice unlike a child.
Theres also another scene of Redrum written jaggily on lipstick in a mirror. The movies creepy.
I thought that phrase would be more well known, but I guess not
------------------
Dub's Sig - Version 4.2: The Signature Of The Idiot Savant!

CNW & Time Trouble: My Daily Comic Strips

Chip and Walter was excellent today. The expression on Mr. Twister's face just pulled it all together.
Time Trouble was also good. We learn a little more about Dimwit and Dumwit nd their intentions. What will happen next?

[A computer sits in the middle of an empty room, along with a Precalulus book and copies of The Scarlet Letter and The Crucible and an SAT prep book. Slane enters with a mallot, four containers of lighter fluid in a bookbag, and a Sonic Zippo lighter.]
Hello, class. I'm your substitute teacher for today, Mr. Slane. In today's lesson, we will learn what happens when you get new classes for the semester that involve a lot of math work, numerous assignments on American literacy and vocabulary, and a crappy new free ISP that you had to get because YOU'RE DAMN FATHER'S JOB WOULDN'T LET YOU USE HIS INTERNET ANYMORE!!!
[Slane lifts up the mallot when...]
WARNING FROM THE FCC: THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN CUT FROM THIS MESSAGE AS IT INVOLVES OBSCENE LANGUAGE, CRUDE MATERIAL, FIRE, HATE, ANGER, AND NUMEROUS USES OF THE F-WORD, THE MIDDLE FINGER, AND A CARE BEAR DOLL. THAT IS ALL.
[Slane is being held by numerous government agents.]
LET THE F*** GO OF ME!!! (Slane spits on the remains of The Scarlet Letter.) UP YOURS, HAWTHORNE! YOU GRAMMATICALLY CHALLENGED NEANDERTHAL!

...Sorry about that. As you can see, I've been busy and offline due to complications in my pathetic, depressing life. Oh, and I don't hate the work of Hawthorne or Miller. Hawthorne's writing just requires a large dictionary, some Cliff Notes, and tolerance for his lack of proper English skills (ending sentences with preposition, long, dull, pointless, and boring sentences, etc.), while my English teacher and Math teacher pump a lot of information in just two weeks and give a lot of homework, thus preventing me from web surfing, playing music, drawing, actually starting some stories, or anything I've wanted to do for the last three years! I digress, however...
(Blinks) Dub actually looking forward to my pointless, aimless, pompous, bombastic, and all around boring reviews of his masterpieces. Gosh...I'm shocked, speechless, and stupified. Man, I feel particulary verbose for it being 1:40 AM here in South Flordia.
Art: Sigh...I miss the days of color comics. However, based on my own predicament of heavy workload = no freetime, I can understand why Dub won't get to do the color ones for a while. Heck, I'm just happy to see the schedule back on track. The artwork is great as usual, although Kedzie did look a little weird on Feb 1's ending. Then again, that was the look WB was going for. There was a lot of emotion to the scene between Walter and Twister on Feb 2's comic; Walter's pissed off look and Twister's crushed appearance say a lot more than the words going with them.
Humor: LOL! First, the Crossed Cow was hilarious, especially with the punchline following on poor, poor Sprocket! Second...I didn't get the Pink Heart reference either; I thought it was a Care Bears' reference. Sigh...I miss Grumpy Bear (uh...that was the name, right? I haven't gotten to see them in years).
Story/Emotion: The conflict with Twister is coming to an end; God, the guy's a stupid psycho. The whole "CRACK" sound effect was disturbing, but it shows how Mr. Plunderhead can be quite vial; make Chip feel pain before he dies. Nice to see Walter stick up for himself this time. NERDS UNITE!!!
As for TT good to see Kat and the gang save Kedz, especially the part where she apoligizes to him; nice touch. Meanwhile, Dumwit and Dimwit elevate themselves from comic relief to somewhat sneaky, planning henchmen...however insane they may be...which will further this storyline as we see the third Timeland party, the King, come into play. Hehe...I'm giddy all over with anticipation!
And now, time for me to check my PMs at tSf and look around the MB a little more. Uh...
[INSERT DUMB STATEMENT HERE.]
[This message has been edited by Slane (edited 02-02-2002).]

*Falls... on... the... floor... laughing*

MOOHOOHOOHOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ROTFLMAO!
Dub... that cross-eyed cow bit was possibly the most random & bizarre thing I've ever seen in my life. The timing and the expression on the cow's face were PERFECT. It took herculean willpower to avoid cackling out loud and waking up the entire neighborhood and I think I made myself sick in the process. :P
