I figured out how to do some text manipulation tricks in Photoshop 6 while working on todays strips and figured I'd try some to sort of "enhance" the mood of the strips, hence the sound effects added. I figured it'd sorta add a new feel if you were able to "hear the sounds" too. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> The whoosh of Twister riding the Deatheye, the eyebeam fire, the sound of the plungers hitting the Hologram shield, and Sterling punting Luis.How do you like em? Distracting? Nice touch? I hadn't even noticed the sound effects till you mentioned them, Dub. VERY COOL LOOKING! They all add a nice touch and aren't distracting (except maybe for Silver's kick).Speaking of which...I HOPE THAT LITTLE SH**HEAL GETS WHAT'S COMING TO HIM!!! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/mad.gif"> Man, you were right, Dub: You ARE creating a monster! Silver serves as a great foil against Happy-Go-Lucky, Kedzie, and Lu, but he's still a major jerk and gets on my nerves. But keep him in the strip; I want to see his final judgement <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">.Also for TT: I like the format of this strip today. The reuse of old strips works very well in its layout with the text and using that colorization on those old ones at the top; I especially like those three pics lined up horizontally of bloody Lu, Silver, and...what is that, anyway? Silver's eyes?As for CnW: Man, since when DID Twister get a brain? Er, actually, I thought those sound effects were always in the comic. ^^; But, anyways, yeah, they're pretty cool. Besides enhancing the comic, they also add some colour. Nice work.Now, about today's comics... <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">C&W: Well, who would've guessed? Twister does have some smarts. I don't know if it'll last, but the subsequent confrontations should be interesting.TT: I was a bit puzzled that Sterling didn't even seem to know (or care) that he'd been frozen, but never mind. But thanks to Dub, I do believe he's sunk to a brand new low! Jeez, kicking someone when he's dead. He's really hateful, and since that's what Dub's going for (I think), congrats! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> Honestly, I don't think Sterling can get any more repulsive short of making him a neo-Nazi or something. I can't wait to see the others' reactions to "the punt".

Well remember - Lu's not dead yet...as long as he remains under the timefreeze, he should be safe for a limited time until they reach thier destination with Duster (which will, coincidentally be soon). Of course Sterling doesnt know this yet and his dealing with the timefreeze effect will come up tomorrow. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">The only one left still under the spell now are Gearshift and Lu. So I tried a different approach to Kedzie's journal narration today, hoping to make it flow better. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> And I had this whole scene in mind when I drew that strip originally ^^The pics in question were Lu's still frozen body, Sterling looking down, and Sterlings feet at Lu's at Lu's body. A downward shot that I dont think went as best as it could. Shouldv'e added a ground filter to make it a little clearer but forgot.

Also, I am actually glad that Silver's final judgement won't be for a while; otherwise, that would mean TT would probably come to an end. BTW, does this conclusion of the battle mean the end of Twister? Sigh...I'm gonna miss the period-dropping, capillary-opened mercenary nutcase.

He doesn't deserve beign sat on by an LNR Just yet...Just getting a few fireballs up his ******* candy *** courtesy of Lina Inverse, and possibly a few stray blasts from the Deatheye (Try modifying the images so that a thunderbolt from the Deatheye in CnW...)(... Reaches into Time trouble and Zaps Sterling. Just picture how funny that scene would be. Then have Kedzie get back at Sterling by PRECISELY mimicking him in a mocking manner.)
