by now i'm sure that my readership has dwindled down to 0. but just in case there's one or two of you still here, i feel there are a few things i should tell you, becaus i respect you now.
anyway, you might be wondering: didn't joe say he's be making a new strip? well where is it? I don't see anything! well i am, and you by all rights should be seeing something. as a matter of fact, the site where it would all be happening can be found here. unfortunately there's a small problem; keenspace has yet to give me the password to actually use the site.
now i know what you're thinking: "why don't you e-mail them and ask them what it is?" well i tried that. four times. and i started bitching on the help forum. basically what i found was that they've having a problem with the reverse DNS system which is stopping them from doing something or other, which is why i don't have a password.
at this point you should be mad and yelling at the top of your lungs "Keenspace sucks! down with keenspace!" well it's not their fault. DNS, though i have no idea what it is, is not under the Keenspace people's control. apparently for them, getting the DNS fixed is just like me getting a password. you e-mail the people who do it and wait.
anyway, i not have a good 11 pickle jar strips done. and the entire website is built, down to the "commission me" page which, as i'm sure none of you noticed, i never made for situation: nowhere.
now you might ask yourself: why didn't Joe post this on the website? the answer is equally annoying. My parents apparently really liked Situation: Nowhere even though i used it to make fun of them, and they showed it to all kinds of their friends and co-workers. ther would then tell me things like "Hey joe, bob from accounting really liked the strip about our last name" and things like that. I want to avoid this with Pickle Jar, so I've kept it a secret from my parents and have no intentions of linking it anywhere on the situation: nowhere website. the real fans will somehow find it, and the 40 year olds will be all "hey, wasn't your son going to make another comic strip?" at the water cooler.
also, this is my 1000th post. hurah.
