At the risk of giving away the plot, *most*
everything will be okay. Quite a bit is
gong to happen, though.

Don't worry peoples. Should a stray bullet fly where it is not supposed to, I will gladly stand in its path.
Hey, don't look at me like that. I'm not suicidal or stupidly heroic. I'm bullet-proof. I'm constructed mostly from a tritanium-alloy, durabyllium resin mesh with trithyllium honeycomb plating within my arm and leg shields. The Illustrious Cartoonist would have to ask his brother, the Battlefleet Commander Extraordinaire, for any hand-held weaponry that can even hope to penetrate my armored hide.
------------------

A quick calculation:
Human, young teenager.
Semiauto, of a size to fit his hand: possibly .32 or .380, but more likely .25 or .22. Useful accuracy falls off quickly beyond approximately 15 feet...
Attic Rat casually leans against a 55 gallon trash barrel, pretending to tie his beat-up looking sneaker's laces.
Unless they change their direction, the troublemakere will pass right by here in a few seconds.... Rocks trashcan slightly to check weight. Yes, I can throw this up to about 8 feet, if I have to do so...
(Really hopes he won't have to do that thing. Then glances around, looking for anyone in any kind of law-enforcement uniform...)
I hate days like this.

If Eleven were there she could be in the path of a bullet and not be hurt. What do you expect? She's a muse and only I can kill her and not by anything as silly as a gun for that matter...
Indeed. A muse only dies when a the person they have 'adopted' lose thier sense of imagination and wonder, or when a person grows too serious and say that imagining is 'childish'.
Hopefully I will never wind up in that position.

Oh geez. I knew that the sleep gas gun that I traded a mint CAPTAIN CARROT #1 for at the superhero flea market would be useful someday. I just hope that I don't need to use it...

My .308 rifle is accurite out to 1.2 miles. The type of Ammunition I am using is a supersonic full metal jacket. you won't have to worry about penatration factor since I will be shooting at an angle pointing down, and there will be no one around to get hit but the ground. I thing the other 2 will bug out the second that they see his head split open like a watermellon.
------------------

I need to find a way to incapacitate them, even if they just begin a ruckus, a lot of bad things will happen, I might be able to convince the security that I know that those kids are going to start a ruckus.

Good estimation. And the mental and emotional
state of the one carrying it isn't the most
stable, either.
quote:

Umm... I'm not really sure I want to go to
*quite* those extremes in my comic! (I've
been censoring their language already.) If/
when Furriston has to take on any foes that
are *really* formidable, you might be getting
a combat call. But a trio of juvenile problem
kids... using such hardware on them would be
like using a ten-pound sledge to kill a fly.

This is not war, besides, even in war, Civilians, even if they are planning on shooting, are not to be killed, permanant damage is also frowned upon, besides, killing isn't honorable, if you use the gun I would advise shooting about 2 feet in front of him when he pulls out the gun. Bigotry is not reason enough for the death penalty.

*laughs* I'm glad that there isn't a nightmare from my world at Furriston.
------------------
