Blah....::blows up the FOX studios:: Teach you to #$%@ up good anime..Didn't you learn anythin' from the Escaflowne disaster? And you still edit Digimon, so nyah!! <P>
Mif.....Missed some of the execs....::hunts down the Fox execs and slaughters them:: Haha, now you can't mess up anymore of my favorite shows and make me deal with all the little drooling idiots who only see your version and think they know everything and call me a stupid b$%ch when I point out otherwise.<P>
Blah, on a more coherent note, Fox Kids has picked up the rights to air Slayers and it's sequel series Slayers NEXT and Slayers TRY on American television. ThRILL... Considering the fate that befell Vision of Escaflowne after FOX tried to dummy it down for the little 'uns, I have little hope for Lina and the gang, considering it has just as much (if not more) violence. Not to mention the innuendo and the fact that the lead character is a violent-tempered sorceress who specializes in black magic that calls upon a rather evil god and the rest of the forces of chaos.<P>Ughhh....I'm gonna go back to my little shell of mental problems and insomnia now. Have a nice....whatever it is in your time zone, and remember:
"If at first you don't succeed, just Dragon Slave the problem."<p>[This message has been edited by BreeAnn (edited 04-05-2001).]

Do you mind if I join you on your hunt good lady? I figure that they will go and screw up the series, so I might as well shoot them now.<P>Ghostwolf out...<P>------------------
Vincent Suzukawa and Genecatlow may not be Gods, but they sure are darn close.

You know, Bree... one of these days I'm gonna
read about some media corporation like Fox
reduced to a smoking pile of debris and
everyone else in the world is going be asking
"What in the world happened???" And only I and
the rest of the forum will know...

</B><HR></BLOCKQUOTE><P>Be my guest....I can't remember whare it is right now, but there's a 500+ signature petition online wanting to save Slayers. Also, me an' about 10 buddies have decided to burn down their studios for real if they screw up Slayers NEXT (IF they even get that far, which I doubt will happen -.-)<p>[This message has been edited by BreeAnn (edited 04-06-2001).]

They deserve a warning first, create an anonymous account on Email.com and give the threat from a library's computer.

</B><HR></BLOCKQUOTE><P>What confuses me is that FOX bought the cartoon from Enoki Films, not Software Sculptors, and yet SS is gonna let them use the original video dubs....Go fig. At least they can't make an even WORSE dub with really idiotic name changes and even worse actors (although the voices for Lina, Gourry, and Rezo are pretty good, Zelgadis' first actor and Amerlia's actress for the entire thing are ANNOYING, and Xelloss'.....let's not go there, I've ranted enough about the crappiness of his english actor).
::yawn:: And about the warning thing: Do I <I> have</I> to?!?! It's so much more amusing when you use the element of surprise!!<P>------------------

You might want to watch the international channel and pray for slayers to come on, sure it's in Japanese, but you hear the original actors!

Mal-chan won't watch subs, because she doesn't like having to read and keep up with the action all at once, so we had to get the dubbed versions of Next and Try. Ye gods, Xelloss' english voice REEKS!! He sounds all strange and nasal, and when he's being serious it sounds, yick! And even worse are when he gets hurt or something and starts screaming in pain, the english voice is HORRID!!!

Well I'm SORRY but I am adamantly against the killing of creatures with enough intelligence to acknowledge their existence, humans and furs included, therefore I say that they need a warning, and make sure your serious, or you could give the warning after they screw it up in the form of an elaborate computer virus, I know of a simple one that in theory would force them to restart their computer 'cause the program keeps running copies of itself.
