absolutely nothing to deserve the treatment
he got by the mayor and the news media. But
he wrote it off. I joked with him about it,
one of his co-workers taunted him, he blew it
off completely. Some days have passed. CW and

has gone to find out about Coffee^2... and
right in the middle of his doing so, two big
furs show up *unannounced* (Ernie and Cotton
turn around and there they are) flash their

him. Cotton doesn't announce to the world
wherever he's going, so they had to *track*
him down.
He's had enough.

I personally think Cotton has the right idea. If some huge ol' mayor's guys come for me, I'm not gonna be all peaches about it, especially after all that has gone and been said. Now maybe he was a LITTLE extreme....but hey! That's a GUY for ya'll. Men. Tsk.
Che, you like quotes, duncha Gene? The come in peace go in pieces things is from some movie, isn't it? I don't know which, but I remember my brother using that phrase in almost every watergun fight we ever had when I was younger.....ah...the water wars.... ...anyway!

Strangely enough, the movie those lines came from is /I Come In Peace/.

The thing is these guys have made no threats, or attacked him in any way. Granted, they *were* stalking him, but that still doesn't mean he had to wallop them with a chair. I'd be very surprised if the two from the Mayor's office didn't press charges of assault and battery on Cotton. In fact, what about that reporter Cotton smacked around? He can't be happy about the way Cotton treated him. And Cotton is giving the Mayor more fuel than he really should.
Otherwise, I'm enjoying the comic. I'm just dismayed at Cotton's actions, it kinda reduced his likability for me.
[This message has been edited by darking (edited 10-11-2000).]

I personally love Cotton more than ever after all this. I don't like characters who are always nice....if you have a reason to get upset, get upset! And of course...Cotton snookaa did. Ohh I loved him today....he's such a smart aleck sometimes! Go Cotton go! Tell those punks! You're cuter than any of 'em!
I've always had a thing for impulsive characters. Heh. Yay for Cotton!
............I have shirts made of cotton. Okay, I'll shudduap now. Bye!

Geners-
Well, I was also going to remark on the pit bull's eyes.. I don't know whether it was intentional, but they've got that slanted, outlined, nearly-Egyptian look I've been struggling to get for the Vinci character for a long time. A lot can be said for eyes.. I don't know exactly what you've got planned for those two, but from the gentle eyes they've both got, I instantly found them both likable and non threatening despite the size and choice of species.
So he's a pit bull. Kick arse. :>.. Is the other guy just a generic reptile or a gila monster?
V-

No offense, but if I was his friend, I'd be terrified to be around him. You say something wrong, and he'll turn you into a mass of contusions. I think Cotton is a time-bomb. He's beaten up(or threatened to beat up) 4 people now. I hate to say this Gene, but the more this storyline continues, the less I like him. But I'm sure it'll all make sense in the end. I hope. In the mean time Gene, I'd try to stay on his good side.
(BTW, was that Cotton who gave the carrot in your hilarious "Yeek!" pictures on Yerf?)
