I see the BII works fast.

*looks at CW*
Where have I see her with that expression...

OMG! It's "THE LOOK!"
*averts eyes*
Borzoi is in for it now.
When CW uses The Look, the effects can be nearly as dramatic as when Cotton uses SotS.
(Right, Gene?)

Indeed, Hell hath no fury like a C.W. scorned.

Get ready for the fireworks, kids!

She'll give ya a tongue lashin' that leaves WELTS!

Why do you think Eugene always behaves himself around HER?

I think that sixth panel should have that brief "Dragnet" musical sting.

But that's just me.

DUNdaDUNT-DUNT! (4 seconds of silence.)
DundaDUNT-DUNT-Dunnnn...

Heck, when know you're in deep doo-doo, that can be used perfectly!

But... CatsWhisker's Look is enough to make ANYONE hide under the bed!!!

Case in point: a picture called "The Nerve" that is found squarely on http://www.yerf.com/tempalbe/thenerve.gif .

That bear's furry bum is a future scratching post!!!

Pretty much. ^_^
But CW doesn't need to use "The Look", per se,
Borzoi knows he's in trouble! He was
thinking (hoping) that his involvement in the
activities at the church wouldn't be found out
immediately. But they were, and having been
found out he has no defense - and apparently
isn't even trying to make one.

The questions, now, are: (1) How does the BII
deal with repositors who go bad, and (2) is
Borzoi unbothered about being caught for a
good reason?

That has concerned me quite a bit, in these
elements of the future where my son is
concerned... he minds her like anything! But
me... me he gives grief like it's going
out of style! Whatsup with that? O_O

Well, I know that I, personally would be
edging none-too-sublty for the exit if that
glance were being turned on me! But Borzoi
seems a little too cavalier about having been
found out, does he not? Think about it... he
must have known that eventually his hater
actions would have been discovered. In fact,
he did know... he said so. Only he
expected for it to take longer. Having been
caught earlier than he suspected, does he have
a backup plan? Has he simply thrown caution
to the winds? Or... does he, perhaps, not
know how really angry CW and the honorable
repositors can get? O_O

They could bodily drag him over to Cotton and explain to Cotton what he was responsible for... but that goes beyond 'cruel and unusual' punishment.

Yug. Gene, I've got to hand it to you again. I'm reminding myself this is a story, but I'm still sweating enough to flood me boots.

Al, you know we love you, but frankly...

If YOU had to choose between the feline Bill Cosby and CleoCatra Jones herself, honestly, who would YOU side with?

If Borzoi was a "true believer", absolutely convinced that he is doing the right thing, then maybe his lack of guilty feelings is a natural thing.

Otherwise, he might be a complete sociopath - but don't the folks at BII check for little things like that?

There are lots of things that get through paperwork--I'm not saying that he's sociopathic, but they don't always catch these types of things right of the bat.

See that tomcat of mine he makes a lot of
noise about that, but pay no attention to him.
He loves our son more than any of what he's
got left of his nine lives and he knows it.

Besides Eugene knows what he can get away
with and who he can get away with it with.
Our son isn't dumb >:)

My sincerest apologies, CatsWhisker.

Oh, Gabriel... it's like the case in the movie "Honey, I Blew Up the Baby", when the Selinski Family were on the outskirts of Las Vegas and the mom volunteered to go macro:

"Dad mean fun, Mom means business."

And in last Saturday's comic, CatsWhisker DOES mean business!

Yes, Borzoi admits he was red-handed in that little show of force at the church.

CatsWhisker... you and your associates at the BII might be in danger by Borzoi's hired goons... he might try to go after you and those around you.

If it comes to that, I think Mokonapuff and I can assist in taking that loser out! :grr:

Save me a round for bopping Bob O'Link... Hey BillBrd1, I'll let you pummel that turkey some, too, if you like, just to make up for that mistake I made earlier!

Feel like tenderizing that Bob O'Link?

I appreciate the offer but but I don't think beating him up would do any good.

Besides, I shoved papers in his face (they stuck to his beak!) so he kinda got the hint I was angry with him. Plus I later told him off in a phone call.

After seeing the site CatsWhisker put up
( http://www.catswhisker.web.com ), I understand what power The Look holds. I can deny that I was afraid... for no apparent reason.

Sorry, Ms. CatsWhisker... I blundered seriously.
