...Let's see, you have a Real Job, draw this triweekly comic strip for us greedy fans, and you still find the time to respond to what seems like 20 posts a day?
I wonder how you do it!
We're lucky to have such a dedicated artist, and I, for one, am glad to have met you through this forum.

before, but it's taken me a long time to get
to the point where I can take on stories of
this degree, and the fact that I can - and
can attract lucid, intelligent and loyal
readers - makes all the work worthwhile.
Well, that's two of us, in the "luck" department!

I was thinking the exact same thing right after I made my comments about how much Gene had to say both on the Forum and in his comic, coupled with being able to keep up with his fast-posting and insightful readers. Are we sure that Gene isn't an eccentric millionaire who is masquerading as someone with a full-time job who draws comics in his spare time?On 2002-04-11 20:47, ArchTeryx wrote:

don't I wish!!! Only millionaires and those
who just plain have a lot of money (hundred-
thousandaires?) get to be "eccentric", the
rest of us poor folks get to be "crazy". ^_^
And as for #2, if you mean well-funded as in

That I did, after I finished with schoolwork (thus the disk I was gnawing on). I got a pair of sandals (something I've wanted for a while -- it's nice to walk in something open in the spring and summer -- and in dorms) and a lava lamp! (Red, ooo...)Gene wrote:
