...Let's see, you have a Real Job, draw this triweekly comic strip for us greedy fans, and you still find the time to respond to what seems like 20 posts a day?

I wonder how you do it!

We're lucky to have such a dedicated artist, and I, for one, am glad to have met you through this forum.

Labor of love. I probably have said this
before, but it's taken me a long time to get
to the point where I can take on stories of
this degree, and the fact that I can - and
can attract lucid, intelligent and loyal
readers - makes all the work worthwhile.

Well, that's two of us, in the "luck" department!
I feel very fortunate to have the readers I
do.

I was thinking the exact same thing right after I made my comments about how much Gene had to say both on the Forum and in his comic, coupled with being able to keep up with his fast-posting and insightful readers. Are we sure that Gene isn't an eccentric millionaire who is masquerading as someone with a full-time job who draws comics in his spare time?

Or perhaps this is all just a well-funded psychology experiment?

A very dedicated person. (Or a nuclear-powered alien robot from another galaxy where furs truly do exist, sent to weave a bizarre and truly insidious conspiracy to make us receptive to them so they can invade without any hassles whatsoever. MUWAHAHA.)

Er, I'll go back to my padded room now.

*weary chuckle* As for suggestion #1, oh...
don't I wish!!! Only millionaires and those
who just plain have a lot of money (hundred-
thousandaires?) get to be "eccentric", the
rest of us poor folks get to be "crazy". ^_^

And as for #2, if you mean well-funded as in
can I afford Rapidograph

LOL! Ol' Doc Catlove might pull that one on
you, but even if I were from another galaxy
I'd certainly tell you all. I'm no good at
subterfuge. ^_^

Catlow. Conjecture aside, he undeniably is, ..a living walking miracle, a penultimate purring patrician, ..understanding ..benevolent
..insightful ..devoted *warble* ..there are *too* many words to describe this kind kat.

and if we ever ran out, ..they'd just have to come up with more. ...because, no matter where he may be, his endless flow of splendid amazement shall never cease.

he is *the*, one and only, Catlow: Cartoonius Felinea-Ontonqilosium.

Such elegant eloquence from the erudite eagle...

I must ever endeavor to earn such excellent
esteem!

I think I'll stick to my Dr. Catlovian theory. But in the meantime, someone wanna give the evil twin a boot in the tail for good measure?

Hey, I boot his badcat butt every chance I
get! And if you think CW gave Borzoi a mean
look, you better put on welder's goggles
before you see the look she gives Doc Catlove!
Lasers have nothing on her. O_o

Oh, and I hope you had a nice birthday,
Elix.

That I did, after I finished with schoolwork (thus the disk I was gnawing on). I got a pair of sandals (something I've wanted for a while -- it's nice to walk in something open in the spring and summer -- and in dorms) and a lava lamp! (Red, ooo...)

I really, honestly, do not want to see that in action. That's how much respect I have for CW, and how much stomach I have for gore.

Well, he seems like rather a disagreeable man, doesn't he?

Doctor Catlove. Is he self-proclaimed, M.D., or PhD? :B

Doctor Catlove, Evil Genius. (Nyar har har.)

Ah, the joys of transporter accidents.

(CW, not so much wise as having been on the receiving end of The Look a few times from my mother. And, it's not so much I don't want the "good" Doktor to get a good thrashing, it's that I don't have the stomach to watch!)

look at it!) ^_^
