It's really easy to tell the ones lacking balls... Picking on the defenseless... For shame... *growls softly*

What I hope was apparent in the actions of
Borzoi and his group was that it was the
reaction of Charlie, and whatever other
humans they could have victimized, that was
plainly and clearly the reason for their
visit. They might have been (and very likely
were) disappointed that the parson's faith
and convictions were as strong as they were
(their morality clearly runs along the lines
of "furry=good, human=bad") but once they
were sucessful in getting a fearful reaction
out of Charlie, it was Mission Accomplished
time as far as they were concerned.

Now that there has actually been a direct
action by anti-human forces depicted in the
story, how will Furriston (and/or Bridgeway,
for that matter) react?

We saw some reaction on the Furriston side today. It can be assumed that some furries found it distasteful at best, which will widen the gap between the human-tolerant (if not human-friendly) and human-intolerant camps.

I get the feeling, from what we've seen of Bridgeway, that reports that furry thugs were "terrorizing" poor defenseless humans - in a church, of all places! - will get things simmering really quick. If they actually start attacking folks, things will boil over.

And somewhere, in a high-rise office building, I'm sure a certain human will have a sadisticly satisfied smile on his face when that happens.

Yes, thank you for not spamming the forum,
Elix! ^_^ And be very careful to keep your
e-mail address confidential - Avariss may yet
find a way to bill you for his dentist bills!

You wouldn't be far wrong on that score...

But would you believe that there could be an
evil smile on a furry face as well
upon such an occasion?

Yep. Snakebird Bob, at the least. Watch his ratings go up as his show feeds the fire, and in turn, gets fed!

Though I don't quite envision him as an avian Al Sharpton. He's too cold-blooded and his aims are ratings, not raising hell for politics' sake.

::walks in with a firehose:: Well, I'll try to at least lessen the fire!

::turns on firehose::

::chuckles but stops:: Oh no! This thing is powerful!

Gene! I can't control it! It's going bananas!

::The firehouse starts swinging around with Bill hanging on for dear life::

Heeelllllpppppppp! ::Water sprays all over the forum::

Gene, look out! ::Gene ducks but gets drenched along with CatsWhisker who had just walked in::

Oh no! I soaked them! I'm dead.

::The firehouse swerves and slams Bill right into a wall::

THUD! Ugh....all in all it's just another bird on the wall!

::Firehose drenches everyone in the forum::

I soaked everyone! Er....maybe I better migrate someplace far far away.

::Firehose leaves the forum with Bill still clinging to it::

Look out! Runaway hose!

Unless Avariss has a way of crossing those pesky dimensions that keep on getting in the way of us fans who wanna walk around in Furriston and thwack certain people who deserve a good malletting... sorry, where was I? Unless he can cross over boundaries, I'm invincible against anything he can do. Now, if he DOES have that capability, let me know so I can begin my preparations to find a nice comfy rock (preferably with hot/cold running water) in a remote place.

I sort of doubt he has such abilities... if
he had, he'd use them!

Well, he at least knows about us in out-of-continuity world . . . that's one break in the barrier. Perhaps at this very moment, he's chipping through . . . or getting another one of his employees stuck in out-of-continuity world to chip through . . . even as we speak!

Well, there I some dimensions I can't visit. I can't visit the main dimension, and while I can visit a artist/writer's world, I can't do anything affecting the story unless I have consent from the owner. One of those little paradox things that happens.
