Well, hold on... remember, the SotS is a
medium which inherantly guarantees that
whatever gets communicated is the 100% truth!
If Cotton wasn't up to any hanky-panky (and
although he *did* have a misgiving or two,
he really wasn't up to any) then Tavie can't
really fault him for it. I think. There's a
lot that could happen... when it comes to
matters of the heart, truth may not play the
role that it should... O_O
In any case, the ball is now in my co-
partner's court, so to speak. <=)

But I may be incorrect in this regard - for
after studying the forum carefully, it seems
that Scotty may not have intended Marble to
play her role as a Heeba. Thank goodness this
is a tag-team comic, my partner will keep me
honest.

but that's okay. I got ideas.
Gene, everyone.. Marble is not a heeba in this strip. Cotton is reacting to a different astonishing revelation.

Ok, with all due respect to the two cartoonists in question, I don't think Bombur's question was quite answered (either that, or I'm just getting in the way again. It's probably a good thing I'm usually ignored.)On 2002-02-16 22:02, Bombur wrote:

A Heeba is a furry immortal gifted with nigh-Q-like powers. Mr. Arsenault created three of them: Marble, the slacker Yebbo (a male mouse), and the nearly insane Reeba (a female mouse). You can see their story in ten parts in Furrlough #s 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 68, 71, 95, and 97. Part 7 (Furrlough #68) has the bonus of being inked by Albert Temple AKA Gene Catlow, himself.

All issues of Furrlough (except #6) and both issues of Best of Furrlough are not that hard to find (they barely printed enough of #6 for distribution but the stories in #6 were reprinted in both {i]Best of Furrlough[/i] collections so no big loss). On 2002-02-17 15:34, UncleMonty wrote:
Is there any place online where I can view a back-issue of that "Furrlough"? I'm assuming printed copies can still be purchased, which might be incorrect...
I completed my collection (except for #6) with M&T Comics. I don't have their web address, but you can contact them at trario@aol.com.
According to his price list, Furrlough #s 48 and 50 go for $4.25, #s 52, 54, 56, 58, and 68 go for $3.95, and #s 71, 95, and 97 go for $2.95.

[...unWARP!!!]
Good evening.
I just noticed something: When Marble opens the door, Cotton is a full forehead taller than she is.
Cotton finished his hot stu...I mean cakes--sweet ca--hotcakes--pancakes, and is now standing. Marble is still sitting down.
Did Marble just stand when she took his paw, and is she standing on her toes? She's now on eye-level with him.
Or is this a quirk of the SotS?
Or maybe a quirk of either artist?
Until next time, remember:

I don't think Tavatiana is going to freak just because she's catching Cotton and Marble engaging in "Sight of the Soul". Yes, the result is that you see the target all nakee, but he's done this before with other female fur and she's seen at least Gene all nakee too.
I think the Sight of the Soul is a form of initimate communication, like talking with a dear friend, but there are no truly romantic overtones when the Sight of the Soul is used.
Unless, Gene's got thing for a certain old machine I'd rather not know about.

I have seen the site and have noted that the heebas section (among others) appears to still be under construction. I am sure Mr. Arsenault is working to get it up as we speak (milage may vary).
