I kind of liked how he's not removing the asbestos...he's apparently just replacing it with NEW asbestos.
Heh, and he's part of the great comic tradition of writing a label on a character when the drawing isn't good enough to make it obvious what they are.
My oldest comics from when I was a kid are full of characters wearing hats and shirts that say things like "I'm a priest" and "I'm the President".
I did that with inanimate objects too. I'd have, like, an incomprehensible scribble with an arrow pointing to it that said "record player" or something.
