I don't think the rules require that you use a character from your comic. You could always just draw something saucy and submit it.

If you've at least got a page up for me to link I'll take it. But you lose non-substantial "indie cred" if you ditch the project. Beware your non-existent indie points are on the non-line.

Alright. Let me apply for the space. Then, I'll have two comics that I never update, which would increase my "indie cred" substantially.
I'M COMING! I'M COMING!

Gonna work on my submission and send it in to ya today, Vin!
It's kinda been an art weekend for me this weekend. New cartoon, cookbook cover art, and now this...all done this weekend. Woo!

Gots it. Thanks.
Also I got a domain for it. You can now get there directly with
http://keenlace.com . This will come in handy if the time ever comes for me to pass the torch to a new manager, the site won't have to change URLs anymore (It's had 3 other URLs in the past).

Um... Is it too late to resubmit the thing to you? I found some minor tweaks that I needed to add before I sent it out to the world. If I can submit a new version, I'd like to do so. But if not, not a problem.

As I haven't posted it yet, go ahead. I'll just replace the file I already have with it.

I'll have to bow out of my offer to do a drawing for Keenlace.
Unfortunately, I have to much work these days...I'm doing illustrations for schoolbooks and working on the Black and Blind Dick Chick comic book....
Next year I guess...

Was the deadline hard, or could I still submit if I do so within the next few days?

A. Yes I got the revision.
B. Do me a favor and make your own 70x70 thumbnail to save me a bit of work and I'll take it if you get it in before I stop updating.

I meant Buster with B there, but thanks for the help anyway.
By the way, I was wondering if the community would object to me putting up a project wonderful ad to help pay the bills. I am running this on my own space now, and got it a domain which I pay for out of pocket. Of course this is a community project, so if too many people object to me making a little back on this I won't do it. Though just as well, if someone else takes the reigns one day, I wouldn't object to them running an ad of their own. I just thought I'd put that out there and see what you folks think.

Go ahead dude - project wonderful ads barely cover site costs anyway so I doubt anyone will whinge.

Go for it, mate. I'll never make anything off my stuff; might as root for someone who will.
