Halloween costume swap!

Post by [geoduck] »

EDIT x2:

This is the thread for the ComicGenesis 2010 Halloween costume swap. The standard option is to draw a group portrait of your characters, celebrating Halloween by dressing as characters from your assigned strip, (see example in my message below) but this is not a hard and fast rule. Do a multi-panel epic if you really want.

Here are the random pairings:
[geoduck] and SergeXIII

VinnieD and VeryCuddlyCornpone

Spaceprincess and Lostmind

If we get two/four/forty two more volunteers, I'll add them..

You/we have until Halloween to come up with something. If you/we fail.. PUBLIC SHAMING AND HUMILIATION!

Post the results here if you want, but at least e-mail/private message them to your assigned partner. Good lock. Happy Halloween!

I'll sign up. I've been looking forward to doing something like this ever since I created a comic with a cast.

When I have done it in the past, folks generally just draw a one-panel portrait of their characters, dressed as characters from the target strip; here's one I did with the (sadly defunct) Alternate Delusions a few years back:

Mine to Tim.

Tim's to me.

..But you can get more elaborate if you want.

It's doable; you always wear the same outfit and have a squirrel on your head.

I'll wait a couple more days for more vic.. volunteers, then semi-randomly assign strips to participants.

Aww. This is rather touching. I'm game. My comic getter can do whichever of my comics they find easier to do a costume thing as.

Since this was all my idea, I figured I had better set a good example. So.. Happy Halloween to Serge..

And if we get any more newcomers, s/he can maybe work a swap with Ti-Phil.

That's is so cool!

And what? Ti-Phil doesn't have a dance partner? And here I thought I'd missed the boat.

I'm game if Ti is!

I have just uploaded mine, if all goes right you should be able to see it when my comic updates itself in a bit, Spaceprincess. I hope it meets with your approval.
