Time for a Revolution!!

Post by Laemkral »

Alright, I'm declaring us as being in need of an election. With General Discussion having annexed Off Topic a year ago, the situation in CG has clearly changed. Not only has current President "The Neko" completely disappeared into places that aren't here, but Keffria, the Vice President, has been gone so long her profile has a blank for when she last visited.

Go ahead, see for yourself: http://forums.comicgenesis.com/memberli ... le&u=15195

ANARCHY IN THE CG!!! We have no leaders (except for admins, and they hardly count) and so it's time for us to do that whole "democracy" thing and appoint someone as a pointless figurehead. I NOMINATE MYSELF AS HEAD OF THE REBIRTH GENESIS PARTY!!!

My campaign motto is: "If you ain't here, you ain't canon!" Change is in the air folks, the long gone legacies of people who haven't posted in a while shall be shattered and a new age shall rise up! Why? BECAUSE I SAID SO!

The revolution is here, it is violent, it might even make me try to draw something in GIMP or take a picture or two. I don't ask that you join my side (JOIN MY SIDE DAMN IT!), I merely ask that you join in!

Campaigning begins now, and as soon as I figure out how we can do voting in an apparently fair and impartial matter (Admins, I am willing to pay bribes) then we shall commence with the electing.

Anyone who draws artwork of me that is favorable towards me will be given a place in my administration.

Welcome back, Jim North.

Man, voting someone for president seems to be the most reliable way to have them dissapear from the forum alltogether.

I think post-apocalyptic Keenspace would be a more ideal setting, but whatevs, I guess I'm old guard or something.

But you're here, so you count. I like a post-apocalyptic idea...time to rebuild society. I bet I even have pictures appropriate for it...

Ahaugen, that was awesome!

He's never coming back.

That's how it starts. You go somewhere and realize "hey, i can go a few days without the forums." Then it just becomes longer and longer, and soon you're out doing things in the world and interacting with reality...and finally you just stop coming altogether.

He's never coming back...
