I'm INCLUDED!!! Yay for being part of something again!!! Wait, does this mean I have to try and be awake when you people are awake ?? I NEED TIMES PEOPLE!! Times that I might convert them into other times and thus travel THRU time to be there at the appropriate place without losing too much of my precious precious sleep (oh 0515, you come so fast).
And what the hell am I being entered in? Do I get to wear a jersey?

Re: The 2010 Genesis Invitational Tournament
And here we go with the first two groups of Round One of the 2010 GIT!
Game One features a match up between to east coast powerhouses: Tim and Pimpette!
Breakdown: Tim is the darling of New England with morphic powers and a snazzy beard to boot. Meanwhile, Pimpette rules the CG underworld with a find dressed fist and one hell of a hat, controlling an army of the best manhos in the city.
The Skinny: While common wisdom suggests that an army of manhos can defeat any opponent, the Red Shirt principle applies to any opponent who can shape-shift. Advantage - Tim.
And while Pimpette put up a good fight, her manho defense could not hold off Tim's tentacle offense.
Tim 121, Pimpette 107
Game Two pits the maiden of mad science against master of massive firepower: Telly and Turnsky.
Breakdown: Telly has the power of chemistry behind her, with the most blinding smokescreen defense around (it's literally blinding). Turnsky is a veteran of the Australian Civil Litigation System, so he's no stranger to a last-man-standing battle.
The Skinny: Science can make things go boom. Advantage - Telly.
And it wasn't that much of an advantage, as Telly needed to hold off a late 4th quarter surge by Turnsky to pull it out in overtime.
Telly 97, Turnsky 95 (OT)
Game Three is the miss-match of the series: Laemkral and Ahaugen.
Breakdown: Laemkral is the darling of the U.S. Army with ROTC and Transport training along with combat experience. Ahaugen's combat experience consists of watching 14 strait hours of World War I documentaries ... and paintball.
The Skinny: A rout in the making; Ahaugen is way out of his league. Advantage - Laemkral.
A run of 20 unanswered points in the first quarter sets up an easy victory for Laem.
Laemkral 137, Ahaugen 93
Game Four features a battle between the two main schools of thought as familiars take on mad science: IV Studios vs Brown Eyed Cat.
Breakdown: Familiars have been a standard since the beginnings, providing a reliable attack and defense. Mad science has been an up-and-coming method for quite a few years now, but it has never gone up against familiars.
The Skinny: IV has been using familiars for quite a while now, while BEC has switched to mad science just recently. Advantage - IV Studios.
In one of the hardest fought matches of the day, it was always within 2 points until BEC managed to pull away in the last 5 minutes.
Brown Eyed Cat 98, IV Studios 78

This is like if crack, LSD, and acid had a threeway and then made a baby. Then that baby snorted Ritalin. THAT is what this is like. Its confusing and bewildering, but still legendary.

Re: The 2010 Genesis Invitational Tournament
And we kick off day two with the second half of first round action.
Game Five is a legendary match up between two heated rivals: K-Dawg and Tynan
Breakdown: K-Dawg is a legendary force, bringing a mix of anger, funk, cool, and hooliganism that has yet to be matched. Tynan, meanwhile, runs a conservative, manho system that, while not pretty, has managed to pull off a few up sets late in the season.
The Skinny: K-Dawg is a veteran of post season tournaments, while Tynan has never made it past the first round. Advantage - K-Dawg.
K-Dawg pulled out to a large, early lead by the end of the 1st quarter. However, a massive brawl at the half sways the momentum in Tynan's favour, allowing him to tie it up at the buzzer to force overtime. Both teams remained tied up after the 1st overtime on a field goal by K-Dawg at the buzzer. However, Tynan managed a 3-pointer at the end of the 2nd overtime to come away with the win. Tynan upsets K-Dawg!!
Tynan 160, K-Dawg 159 (2OT)
Game Six finds a match of chat room rivals: pikhq and Dotty.
Breakdown: Not much is knows about pikhq's style, while Dotty is a well known advocate of the power of rock.
The Skinny: Pikhq is known for staying quiet and only pulling away at the last second, while Dotty comes out hard and fast from the get go. Advantage - pikhq.
And Dotty's strong first half gave her a large enough cushion to hold off pikhq's surge.
Dotty 106, pikhq 96
Game Seven finds the two powerhouse ladies of CG matched up: MariaAndMichelle and Ekolter.
Breakdown: Both command large armies of male followers, however MariaAndMichelle's man-love defense is one of the strongest around.
The Skinny: Both are nearly identical on paper. This one's a toss-up.
The man-love defense was in top form, holding off the hot mama offense during a 3rd quarter run.
MariaAndMichelle 87, Ekolter 73
Game Eight is the final match of Round One: [AlmightyPyro] and Phact0rri
Breakdown: [AP] is one of the best in the fire offense while Phact0rri has the undetectable robot defense.
The Skinny: Unless [AP] can get Phact0rri to overheat, he'll have no chance. Advantage - Phact0rri.
The metal man had no trouble after the 2nd quarter holding off [AP]'s fire.
Phact0rri 89, [AlmightyPyro] 65
