The heart wants what the heart wants. And then the hand, ever the enabler, draws it.

I just finished something. It's completely digital, which, for me, is really an achievement! I really like the watercolor brushes in Photoshop! I think they'll really come in handy for achieving the kind of visual style I'm after.

The colouring is nice, I wish more digital art would try it.

Also I like how the armour is pretty practical compared to a lot of "sexy" female armour (I've read some Red Sonja lately, jeez, chick might as well go naked).

Thanks guys! Once I realized that I could get effects in Photoshop that closely resemble how I work with watercolor and ink on paper, I really started to get into it. I'm pretty stoked to see where I can go with it.

I figured a plate armor maillot is probably a little better for fighting than a chainmail bikini, even though none of it is really all that practical. No reason why sexy armor can't at least pretend to provide protection, right?

Man, how do you get your anatomy so realistic? Did you have a live model pose for that or did you do it from memory?

Getting ever more comfortable with computers as drawing tools, and working out some methods to make it look all pretty and interesting. I think I'm getting somewhere. I like this colored hatching over watercolor thing I've stumbled upon.

Also. Manga Studio 5 is just awesome. I love using it. It has made digital drawing as fun as analog drawing. Especially using cool Frenden brushes!
